You can't even carry that many health items in the first place. What is the point of disallowing healing items during bosses? At least disabling rave mode has an in-game explanation. It's a separate kind of sprite that usually runs less code than a normal one, so that you can use more of them at once without getting slowdown issues. I disagree with this to be honest. If the author wants to give the player the ability to choose whether or not to basically skip over their level then they should be allowed to. There was like 4 points I would have used Rave Mode, the elevator being the last one. Using rave mode there didn't even cross my mind. The only time I ever end up using it is on accident. Maybe that'll help me get unstuck since I can stand still and not accidentally dash off the platform constantly...
