Wow, I didn't expect the Megalians to be such things.
I think the game just expects you to have a lot of elec chips in your folder after Elecman's stage.

Re: HOLLOW KNIGHT - The Deadly Mantis
Guess who has two thumbs and didn't find the Nailsmith until 90% through the game?
No wonder I didn't like it very much.

Re: Mega Man Network Transmission - A Classic Case of Identity Crisis
It would be a good idea to do a cleanup episode relatively soon, there's a lot of HP memories and Power Ups that have been ignored in side paths. It'll probably net more copies of fun chips to experiment with too.

Re: Mega Man Network Transmission - A Classic Case of Identity Crisis
Hot tip: do NOT purchase chips. PowerUps, MB and HP Memories are more important! It's also a good idea to keep coming back to NumberMan to buy stuff as soon as you have the money. I mean, I suspect raocow wouldn't buy chips anyway but you never know. By the way, I think the MP system is meant to rep...

Re: Mega Man Network Transmission - A Classic Case of Identity Crisis
Minibomb s probably the best chip in the game, if you discount stuff like PopUp + Fully powered up buster.

Re: Mega Man Network Transmission - A Classic Case of Identity Crisis
This game has an absolutely incredible soundtrack, X6-tier at least. Only one Game Over for FireMan is really impressive! You could also slide through his legs and make him look like a fool. This is useful for many bosses. raocow seems to be under the impression that chips get used up forever instea...

Re: Mega Man Battle Network WS - Network Connection Found
Hahaha what was thaaaaat. The game just ENDS. And the best part is that since this is based in the anime, the unbeliavably dumb and amazing plot twist doesn't even happen, instead being replaced by this ultimate program thing. FUN FACT: Standing still and spamming the buster is an extremely effectiv...

Re: Mega Man Battle Network WS - Network Connection Found
The buster's not worthless in this game? Huh.
Also, I noticed no chips were used in this episode.
If raocow is planning on treating them like boss weapons... lol. Just lol.
Well to be fair I don't know much about the WS game.

Re: COMING UP NEXT
To be honest after raocow solved Celeste's decrypt-the-birds puzzle for the Heart in Reflection, I'm way more confident in his ability to beat La-Mulana, so long as he's willing to do exactly what he did in that one: Rely on his own past footage from uploads in order to cross-reference things. La-M...

Re: Mega Man Zero - Zero to Hero
This X ended up falling to the fate all the reploids X was modeled after fell into in the first place - it's because no one knew to ethically test them before being allowed to roam freely. This being an explanation for "maverick-ness" is actually really horrifying, dr. cain made a whole r...

That lady's hair was too violent for raocow.
Better start drilling that weakness order into your head so what happened today doesn't happen again :v

You might have noticed it during editing, but the ice slashes did literally no damage to Fefnir. Bosses also have elemental resistances!

Re: Mega Man Zero - Zero to Hero
Harpuia has three health bars because by this point the game expects you to be using charged attacks paired with elemental weaknesses, and of course triple slashes when given the chance. Oh, and because he's a Big Deal as a guardian, of course. This is pretty much the average Harpuia experience. He'...

Re: Mega Man Zero - Zero to Hero
I'm not sure why, but the first game in the Mega Man Zero series, Battle Network series, and ZX series, all feel like unfinished prototypes compared to their sequels. At least, that's my feeling. Also, I hate that first boss. I always grind my weapons before facing him, which is absolute garbage. S...

Re: Mega Man Zero - Zero to Hero
Something important to know is that dashing makes the lemons do more damage, and the saber too. The saber dash attack kills most enemies in one hit and is the best way to deal with the spike balls.

Re: Mega Man Zero - Zero to Hero
Elemental chips only affect charged attacks, of which you currently have none. And yes, Aztec Falcon was meant to be easy. This is a game that rewards careful, hit-and-run play, and punishes recklessness very harshly. If the game didn't do this, every boss would be just, absolutely decimated effortl...

Re: Mega Man Zero - Zero to Hero
I think Zero isn't meant to be disfigured in that cutscene. Isn't he just kneeling with his arms tied behind his back? The real damage is a result of just rotting there for a hundred years. He's rusty and amnesiac, that's all.

Re: Mega Man Zero - Zero to Hero
I strongly recommend switching up your control style. There are three types: A:The one you're using. Holding the subweapon button then pressing the main weapon buttons uses the subweapon. Garbage! Specially for a game as technical and unforgiving as Zero 1. B: The good one. Tapping main uses main, t...

RIGHT! The instakill happens when you are inside of a block when it respawns. It's only tangentially related to the tall purple attack.

And that was Gate. He takes too long to kill.
I'm fairly certain his purple platform destroyer insta-kills if you get caught in it. Super fun for a fight that takes so long.

Re: Mega Man X6 - An Absolute Nightmare
Stopping at the midpoint, huh? Yeah, you were misunderstanding the fight. The shield can be destroyed to make him vulnerable, but the Blade charged shot is too dinky to do it. HOWEVER, the charged saber will slice the shields like butter. I think not using the Shadow armor was a bad idia in this spe...
