Re: ラクガキ (Rakugaki) Mario - the secret exit has to do with that p-switch
The Arrival of the Black Ships! Level By--- Kitikuchan This level is based on the actual Arrival of the Black Ship Fleet that Matthew Perry (an American hoping to trade with Japan) attempted in 1853. However, in the mid to late 00s, it became a meme on 2channel and adjacent places in which a cutout...

Hey, raocow, who wrote "The Long Road Ahead?" I've found multiple songs with that name, and none seem to be an exact match.

Re: All the S@nics - Unleashed (WiiS2) - Hungry Like the Wolf
oh this is fucking weird i kind of like it Well then, if the name "Kyle Bruckmann" doesn't ring a bell, you should give him a look, if you want a modern-day version of this kind of music. I'd recommend him and anybody he's worked with. But as far as Parker et. al's contemporaries go, chec...

Re: THE Last Non-Sonic Super Until Mania - Chronicles: the Dark Brotherhood - Boingkidding
How the hell did Bioware's reputation not crumble overnight?
I no longer wonder why this game's only legacy was the Penders lawsuit.

Re: Skullmonkeys - Pan troglodytes
this may be a bit of a silly remark but we feel like the given example kinda pales in comparision to the... hall of records literally being basically a bunch of parodies of various bible stories. The whole thing was a jokey retelling of the Creation myth, and borrowed a lot from the Biblical fall o...

If you haven't heard it to death already: The Neverhood. I know it's a bit outside your wheelhouse, but it's from the same studio as Skullmonkeys , and like that, it was run by the project head of Earthworm Jim. It also features the same soundtrack guy (fun fact: the two OSTS are sold as a double al...

Re: All the S@nics - Chronicles: the Dark Brotherhood - Lara-Sued
on an unrelated note https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X8_VUQnI36E Now this is my jam--I love screwball improvisations like this. I used to catch stuff just like this all the time before I moved up north. I guess it's no surprise even the engineers ring a bell. As do many of the other names Antoine Be...

the max headroom hijacking is always so fucking disconcerting because it's like. not really edgy or dangerous or anything it's really just some guy, unsupervised, acting like an idiot in camera, suddenly and without explanation, when you're expecting just the sunday night news or doctor who like ii...

Hey, raocow, who wrote "Madden?"
I can't find any results that aren't to do with the football videogame, even with the lyrics.
Thanks.

Hey, raocow, which recording of "Papa Don't Preach" is the episode titled for?
I couldn't find one with the exact subtitle, but I found multiple covers from that year, and at least one remix.
Thanks!

Re: All the S@nics - Chronicles: the Dark Brotherhood - Lara-Sued
personally i think ken penders is also the reason nintendo won't bring dimentio back and i'm not explaining this stance but i DO hate him for it we know this is a Goof but honestly kenders does seem like the guy who would somehow try to claim ownership of a character from a game he didn't even work...

Re: All the S@nics - Chronicles: the Dark Brotherhood - Lara-Sued
This series has really gone places in the name of emulating. Old arcade cabinets, educational software that came with interactive books, obscure consoles, an add-on for a console controller, Flash emulation websites, mid '00s cellphones... and now, seven-year-old emulation software. I really shouldn...

The crazy thing is I'm actually looking forward to this next round of cell-phone/flash game purgatory. Just out of curiosity, where were you able to listen to Conrad Schnitzel Schnitzler's "Mercury Arc Valve?" Schnitzler is one of those guys I've always been really intrigued about, he really carved out his deep, bizarrely specific niche in music history.

and speaking of a bigger push in the indie circuit... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1l4DF2rG8_k of Last Splash fame, this side project of the Pixies and Throwing Muses is perhaps one of the few '90s rock heroes' '90s rock heroes to get big (however briefly) in their own right. Though lengthy inter...
