I just imagined the guy from your current avatar saying all of that in a really bassy voice and slowclapping after and this may have made my day so <3 (well, in addition to pp. 144-151 of Infinite Jest)

Re: Twitter Thread

I'm almost finished with my reading assignment for German class, Schiller's Mary Stuart , which I kinda blazed through the last 2 1/2 days. That is remarkable - considering how little I read. I read less then I like to think I read, but that's a thing I'm working on; I probably read more this year t...

db-7J5OaSag I think that's the kind of thing that's only really cool if you're the one doing it, and if you're not just watching a video of someone doing it 1 1 those little movements most likely caused by natural head movements are driving me insane and making my headache a little bit worse tbh

iirc he kinda said he didn't think he'd win against morsel/morceau in IRC though?? i dunno anymore and can't find it in my logs. Anyway, one possible explaination for the windows name could be devs incorrectly polling windows version numbers like if(version.StartsWith("Windows 9")) { /* 95...

Re: Twitter Thread

I finished David Mitchell's wonderful Number9Dream this past weekend. I already read two other books by him, Cloud Atlas (which you may know from the movie version by Tom Tykwer and the Wachowskis, which was actually the reason I read the book) and the really, really great Ghostwritten (which is pro...

Oh, actually that did happen recently too. When I preordered Rebirth an email for the charge went through her account (I don't have a credit card so I just charge purchases to her's and then pay her back) and she read the wikipedia page. The game's title and plot are composed of references to the B...

Re: Twitter Thread

I find it weird that the very smalltalky topic of weather turns up so often even in a medium where small talk isn't really needed (or so it would seem). One would think that in a forum there would be a focus on conversation on a non-superficial level, but I guess I am proven wrong.

Re: The Thread for Programming

I did it! This solution is quite easily expandable for larger numbers as the strings for numbers larger than 19 are computed (I only implemented numbers up to 99, but with not much effort you could do everything quite quickly by recursing over numToStr and reusing it for things like nine-hundred and...

Because that promblem seemed kinda interesting I'm working on a solution in Haskell right now, which I will probably edit in later today. Just a note:

Yeah the "bonk" sound or whatever you wanna called it is so loud and feels... stocky. I really really really think the original one is better. Some of the sounds definitely fit, but some are just awful.

So far 7.5/10 "okay"

The game crashes for me every time I try to enter "A World One Level" with runtime error 13 "types incompatible" (or whatever it is in English), so I won't be able to play this unless there's some way to fix it. Come on lukaramu step it up that glitch has been around since SMBX ...
