Re: Yeahh.. he did it... he actually guessed raocow !
I did a test with Lyn from Fire Emblem, then got raocow in about 20 questions. That's... pretty interesting! I might mess with this later on, see what comes up.

Re: A Super Mario Thing - Plot and cutscenes
I have to ask, how often would we use the "multiple-possibilities message box"? It's definitely sounding like a cool bit of hacking, and it'd be awesome if done properly, but I'm wondering when we would actually use it, outside of the Yoshi base.

Re: Lets Ask: raocow!
as for the latter, I'd be curious to try, though I have learned it never really gets 'hard' Not really "hard", but some of the big coins and secret exits are pretty sneaky and hard to find, if you want completion. And playing with more players makes things a lot more hectic (which isn't n...

Really? Huh... interesting. I'm not seeing the point of what this guy's trying to do here, though. At least the other guys were straightforward. Maybe one of your fans really just wants to be you, Rao. Except American instead of Canadian.

Ode to Minions, from the webcomic Brawl in the Family. (Here's a Youtube version, for people who have issues with Flash/Quicktime.) So yeah. I follow this comic, and the author did a musical bit for the 200th comic. It's good stuff, especially with the comic there as you go along. Yeah, I noticed t...

Holy crap, posting from school! No, really! It's amazing this site isn't blocked... That's probably because no-one knows about this. That's how it goes with most forums. A blanket ban on them won't happen, so most obscure forums will probably never get blocked unless they have questionable content ...

I'd gladly participate in this. Doing a bit of everything would be pretty cool, although I'm looking forward to Scrabble the most (looking at you, Argumentable). Here's hoping I don't fail too hard, yeah?
EDIT: By the way, I made a new email dazedouji@yahoo.com, so... yeah. Usefulness, I guess.

Let me see... (Yeah, small paragraphs, look out.) NSMBWii is awesome fun. I'm in an apartment-style dorm with three other guys, plus my girlfriend playing sometimes, and... yeah. If two players is panic-mode in later levels, I guess we'll see what three/four is like. We've definitely killed each oth...

Re: A Super Mario Thing - Plot and cutscenes
I like the idea of the Yoshi base having a couple example message boxes. That's good thinking. Personally, the thought box and Con box could go in either order. Maybe have one to the left and one to the right of Demo's starting position, on the same screen? Either way seems fine to me, since the pla...

Re: A Super Mario Thing - Plot and cutscenes
Huh... can we implement different kinds of message boxes easily? If we can, then that Yoshi-type graphic would be pretty cool for any of Con's transmissions. Maybe we could have a speaking bubble for Demo's own dialogue, and then the good old-fashioned message box for stuff put in by the level desig...

Hooray for HD kicking in. I'm glad I can read things now. And yeah, those twists are only possible if you have a good story. therefore story can be very important. You can make twists without a good story. Twists like that just seem like weird/contrived scene transitions, if they don't have a reason...
