So, right now, my father is suffering from Guillain-Barré, a type of autoimmune disease that attacks your nerves. You probably haven't heard of it since it's a disease that doesn't affect a lot of people... I heard that 1 person in every 100,000 has it. Typically, it would cause the entire body's mu...

My current diet plan (regarding calorie intake) can be summed up pretty well: 1. No sugary sweet food or drink 2. Minimal snack foods, even if savory 3. Lots of fresh fruits and vegetables As a result, I feel pretty nice. Like I don't care about being thin anymore but it overall just makes my body f...

Also there's the general under-the-hood improvements like faster bootup times and whatnot. While generally I don't have good experiences with windows, I can account for this actually. Though it gets even faster when you mess in the registry and remove the currently known telemetry. I've done this m...

It's still left a sour taste because of the forced integration and lackluster experience as far as I'm aware. Several people I know who have windows 7 or 8(.1) aren't planning to transition anytime soon.

Thanks obama Not anymore! After mastering the CS exam, I thought I'd learn C next so I'll be prepared later on. Thinking about learning it through Zed Shaw's Hard way , then perhaps using K&R C for reference afterward. Literally every resource is telling me to use K&R C as reference (even Z...

So, now that I'm done with my AP exams, I'm officially done with all of my exams for my entire four years of high school. Man, that's a weird feeling. I took the AP Calculus BC exam, which I did so terribly on I requested a cancellation form. I also took the AP Computer Science A exam, and I w...

Re: garbage dump 2.0: made with all-natural fruits and stuff

Monocat has gone through several different iterations in my head. Right now I kind of want to move away from being based on raocow's style and change her up a bit. I still don't really know what color palette to give her, but I changed it so now she has two eyes instead of one. One of my lifelong g...

Re: MAGLX3 - Pre-Discussion/Feedback Thread

So is this one for SMW like the one last year? What are the dates for it? You're correct, sorta. MaGL X is more or less a MaGL for SMBX, although it has different expectations due to the way it's been specifically done, and will be done in the case of MaGL X3. MaGL X3 won't be happening for a littl...

I'd assume that would be fine, since Fawriel's level was an outlier for that reason as well as its obvious other things.

Re: MAGLX3 - Pre-Discussion/Feedback Thread

Well, it's worth noting that keeping participation down was one of the goals, due to the overwhelming size of the main contest; the boss contest was deliberately designed to be less visible and on a shorter timeframe so it would get a less ridiculous number of entries. I know that's not great for y...

Re: MAGLX3 - Pre-Discussion/Feedback Thread

QUESTION so we know that mafab2 is gonna be happening. Do people like the 'very little amount of time' thing from the first (and technically 0) or would people be interested in having a decent amount of time to work on that too? I didn't like the short time, because during MaGLX2 I only found out t...

Re: MAGLX3 - Pre-Discussion/Feedback Thread

Bringing up again the post which got lost in the other thread, how are we going to treat levels like Fawriel's ? They can turn out nice I guess, but I think we can agree that it's not what most of us are looking for in a MaGL(X) entry. So should we discourage them in MaGLX3? If so, what should be t...

Re: 1 quart of standard formula brown sauce

We had covered it all before Christmas, and had been studying for what he thought was Calculus AB, but was actually Calculus BC. Considering the fact that AP teachers ar...
