Testing on baserom c5b4e33. Intro level - I like that dying now just teleports you forward. I think it's a little weird that it starts to play the dying sound and then cuts off the music though. So you wanted to make those sprites use the back half of palette 8 instead of the front half? If we do that, the side effect is that those sprites would change colors whenever the player gets or loses fire status. My dumb original thought was simply "Someone crossed the streams and now Demo is going through remixes of the past, and that the boss at the end is a highly corrupted mashup of wth/asmt/a2mt", with the cutscene before the boss basically being the same as asmt except demo's line is different
