I don't really think it's an interesting challenge for a savestate-less run... Oh well. Raoman will suffer.

Since the game never really forced me to bomb jump ever, my instinct was a jump dash.

I have to say, I'm amazed at how raocow breezed through the last few episodes. I had way more trouble on these than on the first ones.

This complaining about not starting with max hearts is mostly nonsense. The game already rewards you for picking them up (since 4 heart containers mean 3 more hearts when respawning), and if you started with all of them, you could just tank your way through pretty much every single non forced fight ...

Good on you that you did switch to melee at some points. Remember also that Link does more damage than Belmont overall. Try thinking even more about how to maximise your DPS: never spam the Spazer Beam unless you need its piercing property, use Link's bombs, press ALL THE BUTTONS when using Megaman.

Not sure why everyone is impressed by raoman's performance on the Decimator fights... Apart from showing some nice Morph Ball dodging, I think he showed that this boss really isn't super hard or anything. Not to discredit him or anything, but yeah the piercing Spazer shots do wreck a few of those ph...

raocow has hated the backdash jump ever since he has unlocked the air dash. Makes me sad, the back dash is so fun!

At least raocow felt honest regret over popping the balloon even before facing retribution for it. Does all that damage Mr. Saturn piles on count toward your damage taken stat in the pause menu? RobinLSL did go up that climb at the start of the game without all the advanced notions of paraphernalia...

Man, if raocow does Castlevania first, he'll have a quite bad time... The item finder doesn't really help for the overworld, but it sure does for those gates.

A nice combo you could have used is Parry into Bird Swarm. Doubles the damage of the birds, making them really good at clearing stuff kind of efficiently! And I'm not sure why you refused to parry against the big shield guys... But you managed things anyway. Now, good luck for that boss!

Regarding the boss of Nightmare RPG... He is definitely a thing. But what if you had to fight him with an alternative music playing? I don't remember where I found this track originally; in fact, it might actually be lost to the Internet entirely. But if you don't care about Gate G spoilers, have a...

Eh, I don't think the number of hearts matters that much at all for the boss. At most, it's like one extra hit? Not that much of a deal breaker.
