Re: hypnosis redo: injoke turnabout
How many 2k1x episodes are there, I remember seeing the first one and I know there were more after that and is this one the latest one? Oh man SMBX Community injokes. I'm pretty sure the SMB2 bridge was supposed to be a clashing gfx joke. I was a part of SMBX a long time ago(2 years ago actually) I'...

Re: test.smc.letsplay
This is probably the closest we will get to raocow LPing Brutal/Kitiku Mario. Also fireworks, you never see them used in SMW hacks (for obvious reasons though). YI speed Monty Mole bouncing is not something you usually see, but that makes it more interesting. Oh man VIP castle, I'm looking forward t...

OBJECTION!
That statement is clearly false! Dogs are better than cats obviously.

Re: test.smc.letsplay
A compilation of levels from unfinished stuff, huh. The beginning I feel is going to be slightly uninteresting, but I hope there are going to be some really interesting levels. I'm confused though, becuase that's Sprite GFX index 08 the first level was using, sprite mmemory is just related to sprite...

Re: Super ASPE Mario - All Stars Performance Edition
From what I read in the comment section the original Switch Palace Station(TM)'s background was from Sakura Trick making it related to the final level of the game right? The Yoshi level had interesting Yoshi usage, but I think raocow shouldn't have had so much trouble with it, the end was pretty gr...

Re: Super ASPE Mario - All Stars Procursive Edition
I'm sorry, I just didn't fell like posting the last few days. I really liked the moonjumping part of Sorry. So the reward for getting every Yoshi Coins is a Switch Status Station huh at least it's something if you wanted to play through harder/easier versions of some levels (and it's interesting th...

Re: Super ASPE Mario - All Stars Popsicle Edition
So another limited invisibility level, huh. Well at least in this one you could stay in place or just walk to see Mario and it's even beatable without being able to see Mario as raocow showed. It's pretty obvious that this level was made by the creator of EXPRESS by looking at the graphics (the SMW ...

Re: Super ASPE Mario - All Stars Pyrrhic Edition
World 3 castle looked like it would be definitely a thing without the switch blocks. Also vertical bathtub section for some reason. SUPER ASPE WORLD is the title screen level, but I expected it to be in Star World. This was a screen relay, huh, that's pretty neat( reminds me of yet another SMWC coll...

Re: Super ASPE Mario - All Stars Parorexia Edition
Today's level was really neat. Having to keep feeding Yoshi just so he won't eat Mario (which is hilarious) is a pretty interesting idea and the secret exit was pretty clever.
Can someone explain how does the Fire Baby Yoshi work, because I didn't play this hack up to that point?

Re: Super ASPE Mario - All Stars Prehensorial Edition
I think this level was too precise. Like even at the beginning you've got 1 tile jumps with the gimmick above a pit, there are many Bullet Bill jumps, and having to throw a P-Switch at a single On/Off block but I guess a most of it can be avoided by throwing the item upwards. The secret exit was jus...

Re: Super ASPE Mario - All Stars Pastry Edition
the first half of the paint level was fine, you had time to check out where you can be safe. when i first saw the second part i thought it's just going to be the first half, but you can't take as much time as in the first half, because there's an autoscroll with spikes, but no it just turned into an...

Re: Super ASPE Mario - All Stars Puberty Edition
The cave level with tides had some neat choconilla aesthetics, but the custom layer 3 moves slower than the current making it look slightly weird. Not being able to see the shell, which could lead you to burning it without knowing is unfortunate. The Slope cave for me has TERRIBLE graphic clash (ser...

Re: Super ASPE Mario - All Stars Pyrokinesis Edition
That was a great gimmick level kind of similar to something that could be in JUMP, although it makes the previous level which had burnable blocks look worse. The only time I saw a level that activated three events was in TSRP2R (I really hope raocow plays it this year, because of the anniversary) , ...

Re: Super ASPE Mario - All Stars Psychrophilic Edition
I get that the Yoshi Coin could disappear, because of object memory, but I think you could just move the coin or whatever in the other rooms that makes it disappear or change its position in the main room rather than put it in a long sublevel which has no indication of its existance. Other than that ...

Re: Super ASPE Mario - All Stars Pillar Edition
The Yoshi's Island's switch graphics are a VIP tradition and it was nice to see them in ASPE too (too bad the cement blocks are vanilla). The switch level was neat with the blocks that set the state of the blocks and not toggle, although the light in the second part is questionable for me. The locat...

Re: Super ASPE Mario - All Stars Pseudolatry Edition
I'm going to be different and talk about the previous level. Koopas kicking shells to hit On/Off blocks is something that works better than just timed blocks if the shells are visible and also the fact that Shellless Koopas were able to despawn so easily doesn't help. Enemies that throw a milion sm...

Re: Super ASPE Mario - All Stars Panplain Edition
So the R means that the level is Megaman inspired. I didn't expect that. There is a level about reversing gravity in Kitiku Mario, I believe it's a fortress in world 5, but that didn't have those rad Thwimps. The switches in this hack are found in levels like in TSRPR, huh. The level was neat, but t...

Re: Super ASPE Mario - All Stars Paleolimnology Edition
EXPRESS has some really weird graphical choices (original+redrawn+custom), but other than that it's a nice autoscroller. Boing Boing Sweets felt like a 1F0 level except the tiles are bouncy and Mario interacts with them, it's a good level. The Switch blocks idea I think is good because it seperates ...

Re: Super ASPE Mario - All Stars Piquant Edition
It probably has something to do with loading music. When I used Addmusic K there was a pause between each music change in the Bowser fight, so I suppose it's something similar.
