Re: MaGL X2 Relay Level (Postgame colab level!)
I'm thinking for now that we perhaps stick to the tofu-list approach. That is to say... we have a tentative list which loosely represents ordering. People can ask to be moved around the list as they wish at any time (within reason), and if it's someone's turn and they don't respond they get bumped ...

Re: MaGL X2 Relay Level (Postgame colab level!)
Lol I got a great idea for my screen, and I've got it working already. It's flexible too, so I can pretty much add it anywhere. And yeah I think the best way to do this is to wait for someone to finish their screen, and then have people sign up for whatever screen is next and do a random drawing fro...

Re: MaGL X2 Relay Level (Postgame colab level!)
(I think this thread broke for me in terms of appearance)
I'd like to do a section as well. I don't really care where it is so give me screen 17 or something.
Also, is it ok to reference our contest level?

Re: SMBX: SMBX Japan; Horikawa lives there!
Oh man I can't wait for the next video to be about origami instead of about video games! That was quite a level. It was pretty much the definition of random dude/obstacle spam and it was SUPER long, but it was easy-ish enough so that it wasn't bad for a careful raocow which is neat. I'm not sure wha...

Re: MaGL X2 Discussion (Final-Final Count: 272 Entries + 31 Bosses!)
spontaneously I just thought that we should all do a relay level for the maglx2 just because, except there are no thematic reasons why it would be there in the first place other than make the game (which is absurdely huge) one level (that would end up being absurdely huge) longer. I'd love to be a ...

Kinda hilarious (and unfortunate of course) you got crashes on the Jolly Old Toad level of all things... It's not really doing anything complicated either.

Re: SMBX: SMBX Japan; Horikawa lives there!
Decent level and good feels all around today. Music in the first half feels a bit out of place with all the stuff that's going on, but it's relaxing anyway so that helps, lol

Re: Presenting: Lunadll for Lua!
I'm pretty confident this rendering method should work well for existing SMBX content in every case except for 1) if level difficulty intentionally depended on the strange artefacts that the bitwise operations created (which I hope nobody has done), and 2) the hypothetical case where the bitwise na...

You know what? I suddenly have a ton of ideas for this level and I think I actually could pull it off in a way that everyone will enjoy.
I'll take raocow's Worst Level.

Re: SMBX: SMBX Japan; Horikawa lives there!
Well this level needed a Luigi filter. The biggest flaw in this level is that the time to get back to where you died is so long due to the slowest autoscroll in the world... I feel like this level would have been better without it too (more leeway against rocks by dropping down, more leeway against ...

Re: MaGL X2 Discussion (Final-Final Count: 272 Entries + 31 Bosses!)
I'd like to know how they got the NPCs to drop spawn when entering the warps. LunaDLL most likely. It's easier than ever with LunaLua's spawnEffect function. Tower of Biased don't have lunadll yet. It's something else. Considering they almost ran out of events, there's probably a hidden moving laye...

Re: MaGL X2 Discussion (Final-Final Count: 272 Entries + 31 Bosses!)
I feel like outdoing MaGLX1's post game would be tricky... At least as far as surprise twists go.. Why do I suddenly feel inspired to consider adding a sort of save state to SMBX... But that would probably be a bad idea and encourage kaizo nonsense too much. Because it's acceptable to kazoo simply ...

Re: MaGL X2 Discussion (Final-Final Count: 272 Entries + 31 Bosses!)
Well, I think I officially outdid myself in terms of the post-game. I set a PRETTY high bar last year, but I totally managed it. Oh man can't wait to find out that raocow's parents made a level! Or that someone from Zanyhost really did feel bad and not only made a level, but also managed to bring b...

Re: Super Meat Boy - gimmick retrospective town
Wait people are saying the postgame is not creative enough or too "romhacky"? (whatever that means) This is some rather clever level design, lol. I mean if it's not that good because it sort of focuses on like one gimmick for each level, in a way a lot of the other levels are like that... ...

Re: MaGL X2 Discussion (Final-Final Count: 272 Entries + 31 Bosses!)
I'm hoping my level doesn't upset people (in terms of difficulty). Also, if a troll level isn't in the bottom tier, I'd be surprised. Well Holy's "joke" level last year did get 2nd place somehow. Oh yeah, is anyone hoping to have their level be one of the judge's favorites this year or if...

Re: Presenting: Lunadll for Lua!
Do you implementing the alpha-channel render feature? By anyway you can apply mask as alpha-channel (which PGE Editor/Engine are doing) I might consider adding using the mask file as an alpha channel as well, but for now what it's loading PNGs (with alpha channel) for NPCs (will add blocks, effects...
