Do you really need nine health packs to get through ten waves of this? Like, a large part of the challenge comes from having to manage your health. Being able to heal after every wave feels cheap, especially since it's a completely optional challenge.

South Monolith #3:

DISTORTION OF LIFE, DEVOURING BODY

The south area is probably my favorite area in this game. Lots of neat lore stuff there, plus the music is really good, and it's got a nice aesthetic. Cool minibosses, too.

Also, the pink equipment makes your stamina start to recharge faster.

I love HLD's NG+. It just works really well with the game's mechanics, and it feels super satisfying when you actually beat the game.

I feel like the game might expect you to do the East first; it has the easiest boss in the game, the key doors require a super low amount of keys compared to other areas, and it's very easy to find the keys and the alternate clothes in the area, making it a good introduction to both of those concept...

I mainly find it funny that raocow has spent so much of this series smashing boxes and running into walls that don't contain any secrets, but the one time a box actually conceals something he just walks right past it, even after hitting it once by accident...
