I'd call it bullet hell lite, personally.

For the first phase the issue isn't dodging so much as it is waiting for a good opportunity to grab your ammo.

The second is more complicated, but they're also usually clumped together, and it's again more of a waiting game.

I'd totally be down for the first one.

Uh... I didn't really try to beat Psuedoscience with diagonal projectiles, I threw them up for the most part.

Hm, I think this level is hindered a bit by the speed of the homing bullets. Slow them down and you;d have a pretty decent level.
