Almost finished! Shifting Sand Land was fun, but the second half dragged on. I brought in hammers because I'm terrible at actually dodging things, and especially at dealing with Hammer Bros. Still, the moving platforms were generally handled well. But the second half just plain had too many of them....

Got the second exit in Gloomglow Grotto. Not really much harder than the first, except you don't get a midpoint. There are a ton of enemies in the level, though. Even gameplay-wise, Boki tends to have an easier time getting really good weapon combinations; in general, her Split weapons and Tornado weapons are far more destructive than Savant's. There are levels where I found that more useful for getting requirements, although admittedly not that many.

I think It's An SMB1 Level Only Way More Epic is one of the next few levels. It's not particularly long, but I should probably remind you that it's possible to finish the level early by making Bowser fall in a pit during the final chase. I lost the battle a few times on Hard Mode and my score stayed the same when I restarted. You may want to recheck that; maybe whatever fix you have isn't applying to both difficulties and/or both characters?

You lose, but if you retry you start back at the third phase. This isn't likely to happen on Normal, but on Hard you have a real chance of losing the battle if you don't understand it fully. Time and score are the same as what they were when you died, so you can theoretically get a ridiculous score ...
