Re: A2XT: Septentrion's Pursuit of Blisteringly Hard Difficu
bugs Does Kood's hitbox count? I'm pretty sure you can modify the height in v7 with PlayerMemSet as well. And since you have to modify all 6 forms separately, it should count as $30! Wait, since you have to modify the Kuribo Shoe offsets too (though I do not know where they would be located) it cou...

Eh KINDA. You can do it, but if you get hit, you are pushed to the bottom of the screen through the ground.

Re: A Second Mario Bros X Thing: analog funk V1.1.1
Pause the game on the world map, then press left or right to cycle through the characters. Speaking of this I keep having a strange issue with changing characters. It doesn't happen every time but for some reason a significant chunk of the time I go to change characters this way the game either unp...

Re: LunaDLL help thread
You could have an invisible npc that isn't used anywhere else on the goal screen, and when all npc of that ID die, have the lunadll activate

Lol
Is it possible to pre empt the death sound and make a custom one for one level? It would be funny IMO for the megaman "bwoo bwoo bwoo" to play for a boss idea I had for ASMBXT2-2

Re: request grab-bag
I liked TSB more than Psycho Waluigi. I 100 percent completed TSB but stopped at the W2 fort in PW. I do agree that it's kinda long (8-10 hours if you do the optional levels too) and more down to Mushroom Kingdom (it's not BORING, it's just less wacky than PW). The plot is also much blander ("b...

Re: A Second Mario Bros X Thing: analog funk V1.1
It makes me feel out of the loop if I don't at least pretend to enjoy episodes like Super Mario Star Expedition. Unfortunately as said I only got to world 2. The stages aren't interesting enough to warrant their length.

Re: A Second Mario Bros X Thing: analog funk V1.1
I'd like to mention to anyone who thinks I hate this game that I got to Science Tower while only cheating in two levels*. This is a bit pathetic but that's a lot more than I give most episodes these days**. *the electrified water level and Mishi **as in turning on invincibility in world 2 because yo...

Re: LunaDLL help thread
You could see what the bombsaway, hammer snake, and the bullet bill codes do to the memory in a level with no NPCs and search for "134" "29" "14" etc. I don't actually know anything about this stuff, but those numbers would seem to stick out in Cheat Engine or whatever

Re: LunaDLL help thread
I'm looking for a way to make the player have an ranged attack regardless of power-up state. I was thinking give the player a fireball to hold whenever "b" is pressed. It might need a cool down time, but I'm not sure. ^ this would help with the boomerang flower too so I am also interested ...

Any shell? Even non-block top'd ones?pholtos wrote:Riding a shell is actually very simple in smbx. If you simply walk, no running, onto a shell you should stay on it just fine 95% of the time.
