It's a shame, really. It could have been one of the first good fangames. The creator's "rock hard and don't critique my difficulty" attitude killed it, sadly. If anyone wants a good classic fan game, try Hard Hats 1 and 2.

I had the idea of porting a friend's favorite character into smbx as a surprise, but the bed sprites I could find were 194x110 (2x scale) MUGEN sprites. I'd have no prob with that if it weren't for SMBX. So is there a way to import player sprites past 100x100 into SMBX without having Luna draw each ...

I have NO use for this but keyholes interact with the key and SMB2 tree stems and SMW fences interact with the ladybug enemies. Even though they're BGOs. Oh! Some BGOs make the watery splash if there's water over them and you jump in the water at that point.

Don't forget explosion collision.

Thanks for the help, but I think you guys have my bomb question wrong. So Link needs to stab bombs in order to get bombs to throw, but if I replace bombs with something else to get a new projectile, there wouldn't be any bombs to stab. What could I do about that?

Toad, Peach and Link could only use mushrooms and the fireflower (the ice flower wasn't implemented) in SMBX 1.2.2. I'd say to be grateful but then again how do you do that type of thing when making a new character?!?
