Chamber of Birth is a special hell and probably my least favorite zone in the entire game. It's basically "what if Illusion was less honest about being hell and was worse to solve." In no uncertain terms, getting to the grail point is probably one of the most infuriating things to do.

Of all the load-bearing puzzles in the midgame, solving the entirety of Flooding the Tower and getting the Plane Model is probably the biggest one. Flooding the tower is generally one of the more out there puzzles that's basically there to go "hey have you been paying attention." The solutions are a bit silly themselves too honestly but raocow's strategy of scanning/pushing down on everything is coming in handy.

I just got to Peer Pressure myself (I've done a level that raocow hasn't but haven't done the second and third levels he did today), and yeah it's just the wrong buzzer and you take damage. I will interpret that as Mario getting punched in the face by walking in on someone.

Being used to the SSCC music or the remake's music, it's always weird hearing the SC88 versions of the music. It does give a good idea where some of the structure of the remake's music came from compared to the original, though. Definitely interesting to listen to because of that.

Balloons but you can actually control them reasonably? Now that's just illegal.

Real talk the fact that balloons have been made actually controllable is good and now I wish retroactively every horrible balloon section in all SMW hacks could be made to use the not-garbage controls.
