Playing cleanup on the Dark Side kingdom in Mario. The capless retread of the piranha plant room with the invisible floors is super frustrating. I can get to the end easily, I just can't seem to jump on the giant piranha plants without hurting myself. I also finished the second BOTW DLC in two days....

I haven't seen the final level of this game since the early '90s. Any kind of memory screw ups could be possible.

I decided to suck it up and do the 100 jumps with the jump rope in Mario Odyssey. Surprisingly, I got it on the third try. Still have the volleyball one to worry about though. I've currently cleaned up all of the kingdoms up to the Metro Kingdom. I'm currently at the endgame of Monster Hunter Storie...

Yeah, it's super awkward

This brings up my major issue with this game (aside from Rush Coil) - none of the cooler level gimmicks are remixed in the fortress stages. I honestly don't mind the weapon set in this game.

...yeah I never even made it to the second water stage thing.

I wanted to like this game so much as a kid, but I just couldn't. It wasn't fun to play at all. At least now I'll get to see past the underwater level I guess.
