Re: What games are you playing?
Ah yeah, I hear ya on being burnt out. I do still play it from time to time though, maybe 2-4 hours a month, sometimes less. I'll probably play it a bit more when I'm finished developing DT3. It's still tons of fun and the devs are always adding/changing things. Sometimes not at a pace we'd like, bu...

Chess, for one thing. Play me bruh! No don't, I'd probably lose horribly now, I haven't played Chess in sooo long. D: You're livin' my dream. Love the sassy walk in the first video. You can also live the dream. If there's a place you frequent, like work, backyard, the parking lot of your apartment,...

Your bird sprites speak to me. *Insert bird metaphor invoking deep thoughts* Pixel art is silly. And hard. :I Pixel art is this lost magic to me. I like that blue bird's antlers and headpiece. Re: Hobbies other than games!
I'm just kidding, I just really love birds and that sounds like a lot of fun. Sometimes birds approach . Judging by the other post I made, I have limited hobbies, so... I enjoy reading (at times), I work out from time to time, (this is a trend in this thread) though I think it's more accurate to ca...

Re: Hobbies other than games!
I enjoy periodically researching birds, but even more, going out and trying to interact with them. They're very responsive, which makes them enjoyable. This is most specifically with the crows and grackles here.

so a lot of mental time and energy goes into "how do I make this look right" before/while doing it. Oh man, I get that completely. Approximately 67.2% of my time is, "What am I doing?" Followed by, "It's wrong. This is all wrong! Why am I here? What is even the meaning of l...

THIS IS NOT AN ACCURATE BRONY TEST AND I'M VERY UPSET THAT I'M NOT A TRUE BRONY If you're not shitting rainbows and unicorns, you're not a true brony. That's going to fail pretty bad I'm sure. I see the passion behind it, but it's not going to get any developer or market support. Not while the mobile market is around.

Re: Turnips are like pixels, when you think about it
You do it (animation) very well, so that's definitely something. Also you have an army on your DA page. Did you draw all of those? Because wow, that's a lot of pixeling. How fast are you able to make one of those?

More Gradius V. Almost made it to Elephant Gear, but not quite. I don't know if it's just me, but the hitbox on the Vic Viper feels super weird, especially when it comes to walls. I cannot for the life of me pinpoint where it is. One of the reasons Gaiden edges out V for my favorite Gradius. It's a...

And that magical 50-hit combo always comes at the end of a stage when it's useless... always. I feel like the catch rate lies on certain pokemon too. I know probability is uncertain, but still, missing a catch 3 times in a row when it's at 84% -> 88% -> 92%, running out of hearts, and then missing a...

Re: Keyboard vs Gamepad
Like what's been said, it really depends on the game. FPS games for sure a keyboard. D-Sticks just don't have the precision that a mouse does. The keyboard inputs are typically set up to make the best use of the left hand.
For everything else, definitely gamepad, especially 2D platformers.

When do you 'think' you'll be done? I gotta quote that because I know too well how projected release dates go.
