Re: Mega Man Maverick Hunter X - Just Vile
I'm pretty sure the remixed stages are because of a certain spoileriffic thing that happens in Vile's campaign that requires the fight between X and Vile to be moved all the way back to the end of D-Rex's stage (and maybe because Vile can't dash,) so they figured "Screw it, let's just redo the...

Re: Mega Man Maverick Hunter X - Just Vile
To be fair to the PSP, the SNES can't handle that cart ride either.
PS: The PSP has slowdown during the final cart ride with X with the default PSP settings, but if you set the CPU to 333, it goes away.

Re: Mega Man Zero 4 - Absolute Zero
Is Neige a reploid? Or did we just casually teleport our first human?
Although, I think Wily machines have teleported before for at least 5 meters with Wily inside.

Re: Mega Man Zero 4 - Absolute Zero
The wall jump works about 4 pixels from the wall and closer. You don't have to be in the wall sliding animation to wall jump.raocow wrote:

Re: Mega Man X8 - An Epic of an Ending
Can we all just think about the fact that in the current state of the world and who they are(automata(#notracist)), for X or Zero to own a "backyard" is an absurd luxury.

Re: Mega Man X8 - An Epic of an Ending
As someone who took a college course in Astrology, I can answer this.Kilgamayan wrote: ↑4 years ago I like how the giant wall of ice cubes started melting before Zero's Ion Cannon even fired at it.
Most or all of the light that has heat(energy) capable of melting ice or burning things, is not visible.

Re: Mega Man X8 - An Epic of an Ending
PS: The PS2 widescreen hack works fine, but there is no guarantee that the whole game would work perfectly. PPS: Or this whole collection is a cash grab and the devs don't even care enough to add widescreen support. To be fair, stuff like this is rarely handled by somehow asking the GPU if an entit...

Re: Mega Man X8 - An Epic of an Ending
For anyone wondering why X8 isn't widescreen. The game handles loading of enemies and screens by the edge of the screen. Widening the screen would mess with the challenge rooms. The room would trigger, but you aren't in the room, and you are now softlocked. PS: The PS2 widescreen hack works fine, bu...

Re: Mega Man Zero 3 - Omega Man
Deus ex Ciel? God from the Sky? Edit: Also, wall-jumps immediately after latching on ARE a bit finicky. In the X and Zero Series(And probably any other that follows or stole their engine), You don't need to latch to wall jump. There is a proximity to any walljumpable wall that lets you do a wall jum...
