Re: Twitter: The Thread: The Video Game

Ugh, I hate my goddamn voice so much. Had a choir rehearsal. I was pretty much the only tenor there (one other guy showed up for half an hour). Except I'm not a real tenor. And my voice sucks. And I swear, doesn't matter how much I practice, I mess up way too much, especially if I'm alone on a part....

Re: What games are you playing?

Finally got around to beating Sonic Generations (I've been at the end of the game for a year) and holy crap that final boss fight was poor executed. And irritating. The game was decent except for that and a couple other dumb challenges.

Re: Twitter: The Thread: The Video Game

Sometimes at my girlfriend's house, I'll wait for her cats to get nice and comfortable...and then start playing her drum kit. Or mash notes on the piano. Both are fun.

Her cats are weird though. One of them loves playing in water and will try to steal people's broccoli.

Re: [Pokemon Race/Contest Thread] Pokemon Race/Contest

Years ago, TLs4 organized a SMW race (I can't remember if it was all exits or just all castles). I think we had about half of the people do it live and half of the people submit their video runs beforehand if they couldn't make it at the actual time.

Also I did really really bad...

Re: [TALKHAUS SINGS] - Kansas: Carry on, Wayward Son

Bleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeah. Recording sessions aren't going well and I won't be able to get a chance to record again until Friday night, which is cutting it way too close. Looks like this one isn't gonna work out for me.

Re: [Pokemon Race/Contest Thread] Pokemon Race/Contest

I'd love to get in on a race if I get time. Maybe not for pokemon, but I'd love to see this carry forward to more races in the future.

Well, that was fun for 2 weeks. Now to wait a couple days for spring training baseball to start.

...yes, I'm that pathetic.

Re: The 2014 Winter Olympics

I gotta say, I didn't like Canada's chances going into the game. Turned into a real nail-biter. Good game on both sides with some amazing opportunities.

But that goaltending...So ridiculously good.

Re: Twitter: The Thread: The Video Game

Glad to hear that, Maiku. On a sadder note my baseball card collection isn't worth as much as it once was, so my plan of buying some new comics has been halted. My dad used to have the entire 61 Yankees cards when he was kids. Too bad he wasn't able to keep it. Pretty sure that would be worth a dec...

Re: The 2014 Winter Olympics

Wow, that game was all kinds of nutters. I'm surprised Canada pulled it out in the end considering USA was dominating early. But hey, what matters is the final score~ Although, that last penalty was hard to take, but I can understand why it was called. A shame it came down to that, but rules are rul...

Re: What games are you playing?

I dunno. I kinda liked Apollo a bit more in Dual Destinies since it felt like he actually took charge. In his own game, it felt like he never really outright solved anything on his own (i.e. Gavin always seemed to get the glory moments). Although, I could be misremembering since I haven't played in ...

Re: [TALKHAUS SINGS] - Kansas: Carry on, Wayward Son

Er, I was gonna try doing the middle/bottom harmony on the chorus. Or I might do the melody an octave down since that high C is just not happening.

Re: The 2014 Winter Olympics

I'm a sports nut, Olympics and everything. Been watching almost everything I can. For me, it's not really about winning and medals. It's getting a chance to see people performing at a high level and people of different nations coming together. One of my bosses was saying how he went to the Olympics ...

Re: What games are you playing?

^ That was a really great game. I've been meaning to go back to it to see if I can finish the treasure hunt, but I doubt I will. Maybe at least clear as much of the board as I can.

But I still have a bunch of unplayed games to go through...
