I finished with 97% on Normal. Some of the hidden areas are truly hidden well. Definitely a new favorite game of mine, right up there with Cave Story and La Mulana.

(Oh god raocow lping la mulana we'd be at 100+ parts I estimate)

Isn't it supposed to be full of injokes anyways? :P As for the counter overflowing, just have it stop counting after 999 (or 9999 if you really think you're bad at the game :P) deaths or something.

13B is the last level number you can use on the overworld. 13C can only be accessed by a screen exit. I guess you could use 139 as your third level if YCZ has no objections.

Actually it'd be fun to implement that idea for the whole game. Instead of a Lives counter, the game tracks your deaths. Could be especially fun if raocow wants to do it savestateless.

You could potentially have all the enemies in the level, you'd just need separate "levels" for each sprite set in order to include all of them.

Seems like difficult adds a smaller split for that boss because when I fought him I didn't have anywhere near that many small dudes hopping around. Probably would have been better to fight him later but man raocow you are stubborn like an ox but I gotta admire that persistence.

Kristian, I'd suggest making more of the overworld, that way people have a bigger variety of levels to choose from. That and having the overworld acts as a visual checklist of what levels are taken/underway/finished.

Hey raocow, here's a tip for those bullet hallways. Take a shell with you so you'll have at least one blocked hit. It could help in the future in case of more tunnels like that.

One of the things you can easily do with sprites is change the movement speeds. If you've noticed, a lot of enemies are like that, including koopas and goombas. The wigglers were changed as well, that's why they're so fast.
