Re: Super Mario World Returns - No Tools!
The toads seem to allude to secrets in other levels "In the plateau ghost house where the big ghost is, without turning back retreat downwards (drop through the floor or something?) and surely something will happen" "In the tunnel where lightning strikes there is a small room with a c...

Re: Testing and Level Discussion
Yeah I really like the idea of having a Top Secret Area, like I said before in some other threads. We could put... stuff... in it. If only my SoundTest block worked... About the minigame, it could be spiced up some. Right now it just has a single 1 up tile. I'm taking suggestions for any ideas or ch...

Re: Super Mario World Returns - No Tools!
Whoops. The reason my TL list was incomplete was because I had to scroll through an extremely non-sorted list of levels in the LM OW editor and piece together a list of levels from that. And actually, since KT locked the hack, I had to go through the shameful process of using the LM unlocker program...

Re: Testing and Level Discussion
So I made this minigame type thing using my controllable sprite booster code adapted from a different level. Maybe we can put it somewhere? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2KpFykx3eVg
Dunno why the text box doesn't work.

Re: Custom music thread
I've found that when it says interval too high, it really means octave too high. I would just go through in notepad with the find command for "o" and knock them all down by one until it inserts without error, and then adjust from there. But actually, this midi will probably not work withou...

Re: Sprite / Block request thread
Sounds like this one. No Spin or Star Hurt Block Added: 2008-05-03 10:22:24 AM If the Blocktool offsets are right, you bounce off from the top - complete with clicking graphic and sound -, and the sides will hurt you. When Mario has star powers, it will act like whatever it's set like. Roy Submitted...

Re: Testing and Level Discussion
raocow will probably do what he always does and show every path through the castle anyway by savestating. I have a feeling no one will complain if he uses savestates for that.

Those are all of the suggestions actually, and they're not arranged in any way. It's mostly there for people to find custom music for their level if they wish.

Re: A Super Mario Thing - Collab Hack
If there's anyone out there who gave up on their level or just lost interest in the project, please give your spot up as soon as possible. Not even counting anyone else, I have several unfinished levels I could have ready in a day.

Re: 65C816 ASseMbly (ASM) Tutorial
I've got this custom block I'm making, setting Y sprite speed to #$80 (STA $AA,x), but the only thing it actually works on is stunned goombas (after they've been jumped on). All other enemies ignore the effect of the block. The code works fine, but maybe I just don't understand how enemy sprite move...

If anywhere it needs to be in the plot thread.Tails_155 wrote:raocow wrote:I understand, and they can be very fun. I just want to make sure nobody surpresses an idea that's hilarious because 'it doesn't fit the plot' or something.
I want this in the opening post XD

I like this idea a lot, but how will it look next to all the 15 color sprites?chdata wrote:Pokey 1
Also how about this for a mechakoopa
Although we'd have to draw some customizations because it wouldn't work exactly like this.

Re: List of Global Graphic Changes (in progress) + Voting
With Mechakoopa getting a complete makeover, I think it's best to move on to another vote. Vote Pokey -> ? http://talkhaus.raocow.com/download/file.php?id=332 (Pokey 1) or http://talkhaus.raocow.com/download/file.php?id=286 (Pokey 2) Yes, I know that there where other alternatives for Pokey, but th...
