Re: Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga - EVW
Fun fact I learned from replaying the game: raocow is so powerful that he could have defeated Cackletta in just five Bros. Attacks, if he did them at Level 3 and didn't mess up the timing. ( 3x Chopper Bros. and 2x Knockback Bros. ) He might have actually been able to win in four turns and skip Cack...

Re: Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga - The Ninji Saga
I think balancing your stats was probably the intended way to play, but I support raocow putting all his points into POW if he wants to. It's kind of a weird fun way to play the game and I really doubt he'll get stuck and have to grind.

Re: Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga - The Ninji Saga
I wonder if the people who are worried about raocow putting too many bonus points into POW have actually tried an all-POW run....
Maybe they're just worried about raocow killing later bosses in like two turns and not getting to see all their attacks?

Re: La-Mulana - Wishbringer
I remember the katana being pretty good, so I was confused when people started complaining about raocow using it.
Maybe it's good in LM2 or the original version of LM1 and I'm getting my memories mixed up.

Re: La-Mulana - Wishbringer
I'm also surprised at the low in-game time. I don't remember how long La-Mulana took me the first time, but me and a friend both took 50+ hours for the sequel, and I thought they were similar in length. I think a big part of the La-Mulana experience for most people is getting stuck on a progress-blo...

Re: La-Mulana - Leather Goddesses of Phobos
So I expected there to be a .5 episode I wasn't counting as a full episode of raocow grinding out a puzzle that is no longer in Hell Temple. A puzzle so awful... it's far more painful than the treasure. Bring all 3 Fairy Medicines around where that boss rush section is. Yes, that hellish section......

Re: Mega Man Powered Up - Back to the Beginning
I really liked this game when I played it but it looks surprisingly a lot more bland and annoying than I remember. I think I'd rather just play the NES version. They did a great job of packing it with extra content for completionists though (multiple difficulties, play as every robot master, target ...

Re: Last Impact : Twenty-Seventh Sting
can we like make it illegal to make platforming focused sm64 hacks without a rejiggered lakitu cam and level design actually geared towards letting the player see shit Was the camera in the original SM64 just hardcoded to work well with each level or something? I always thought the camera in SM64 w...

Re: JIGGLY ZONE
Thanks so much for playing this! The videos were really fun to watch and I looked forward to them every day. I thought I fixed the bug where you can save inside a spike, but I guess it's still possible somehow?? Anyways, here's some miscellaneous stuff. I did an any% speedrun a few days ago. I was a...

Re: JIGGLY ZONE
Maybe now is the time to mention that there is a secret bonus mode accessed by clicking the JIGGLER that appears on the title screen after beating the game.... it's a "second quest" featuring all new dialogue and shuffled powerup locations. The start and end of the game are the same (aside...

Re: JIGGLY ZONE
Wow, raocow basically did everything in the hardest way possible this video, which was kind of rough to watch at times but made for some really impressive playing. The finale shouldn't be too short, since the final room of Crimson Islands was changed in the most recent update and is now a pretty sub...

Re: JIGGLY ZONE
It might be a long-ish video, but I think you can finish tomorrow. There's a place that might seem like a natural stopping point, but if you stop there, you could end up with a pretty short final video.

Re: JIGGLY ZONE
Landing beside a spike is sort of a "secret trick" since it's not really intuitive that spikes work that way, so I made sure it wasn't actually required anywhere except
in the secret "second quest" mode

Re: let's play JIGGLY ZONE just a little bit before raocow does
Don't worry, I'm pretty sure Hubol wasn't being serious. Nice job finishing the game! I think you got 100% JIGGLERS too. It was fun having another LP to watch alongside raocow's. If you update to the newest version of the game, there's a bonus mode accessed by clicking the small JIGGLER that now app...

Re: JIGGLY ZONE
I think it would be really interesting to see a playthrough that shows the maximum item/jiggler collection you can achieve before each of the new abilities. Basically a playthrough where you do everything in the hardest way possible, without letting the new abilities like 5-jumps/gravity/ghost triv...

Re: JIGGLY ZONE
Here are the places where you missed stuff in your cleanup (as far as I can remember) if you want to go back for it before finishing the game. Don't trigger the ending until you've done everything you want to! Two JIGGLERS in Emerald Forest ~ Deep Woods. One JIGGLER in Lavender Cemetery ~ Catacombs....

Re: let's play JIGGLY ZONE just a little bit before raocow does
Lots of progress and lots of going around in circles. Sorry for unintentionally tricking you into thinking Moon Mountain had something useful in it! raocow is playing a newer version of the game than yours, so you might have noticed some slight differences in the level design in his version. There's...

Re: JIGGLY ZONE
You might be forgetting about the gravity powerup, which is required to get through the Heart. You'll also have to do some blind jumps, but it's possible.

Re: JIGGLY ZONE
Hoo boy. I really hope raocow remembers to clean out as much as he can of the Trial Site before leaving. Otherwise, he's going to be in for a nasty surprise when he revisits. At least, assuming the surprise hasn't been fixed yet. It has been fixed, assuming we're talking about the same thing. (Ther...

Re: let's play JIGGLY ZONE just a little bit before raocow does
In Sea Caverns, you can reach the Depths door directly from the Pirate Hideout entrance using gravity - you don't have to go all the way around again. In fact, you can even reach it without gravity, which was unintended, but I don't care enough to patch it . The ending of the video was good. I'm loo...

Re: JIGGLY ZONE
If raocow keeps playing in unedited 15-minute-ish chunks (outside of the eventual cleanup phase), maybe this will last until the Hollow Knight DLC comes out. I was expecting it to end a few days earlier, although I actually have almost no idea how long it usually takes people to beat this game.
