Re: Super Donkey Kong World: The Legend Continues
1 single person's contrarianism we really don't need essays on fusoya For the record, I apologize if this is how my post was interpreted. I'm not trying to contribute to any sort of drama or argument here, nor am I trying to be contrarian. I just felt that the info would be useful to have on record...

Re: Super Donkey Kong World: The Legend Continues
(I'm aware I'm a bit late to the discussion, but I understand that the LM/Open-Source debate is something that's important to a lot of people in the SMW community so I'll throw this here anyway) For the record, the notion that FuSoYa is super secretive about his reasons for keeping LM closed is actu...

Re: All The S@nics - WWSP - But, Like, For Real This Time alsoeraserwouldhavebeenalmosterasedfromhistory
Someone on another video pointed out that the music in the LCD game is actually just a really bad arrangement of the Marble Zone theme. The rhythm is totally botched, and some of the notes are just plain wrong, but if you listen closely you can tell that's what it is. Also I totally disagree with wh...

Re: Star Fox (SNES) - The urge to build these fine things seemed not to be so strong
It's all right now. YouTube has been having weird issues all day, so it's not the video's fault.

Re: All The S@nics - 1 - Dusting Doilies Since 1991
I don't think it's that big a deal, but even though you only get an alternate ending for clearing the game with all 6 emeralds, it still feels like you're technically missing out on some of the game's content since you never played the 6th Special stage. It only changes like one image in the credit...

Re: EverQuest
I played this game pretty obsessively back in the day. It was the only paid MMO that I ever played. I actually didn't realize this when I made this thread, but as some sort of celebration they've started a couple servers where the game has turned back into the same way it was in 1999, and every 12 ...

EverQuest
(Originally posted on SMWC but I figured people here would be more likely to even know what this is.) I just realized this literally not even one minute ago, but today is the 20th anniversary of a game that used to be massive but is nowadays pretty forgotten despite how influential it was: EverQuest...

Re: What games are you playing?
As I mentioned in another thread, BioShock Infinite. I'm definitely super late to that party, primarily because around the time it came out I more or less had a somewhat negative impression of FPS's in general, but these games alone very quickly turned that around for me. Extremely fun game, on top ...

Re: What music is stuck in your head right now?
BioShock - The Ocean on His Shoulders I've been playing this series lately at the recommendation of an old friend (a friend almost as old as the recommendation itself), and man am I hitting myself for missing out on this all these years. Especially Infinite, I'm almost done with the Burial at Sea D...
