Re: A Hat in Time - Cool Visor that manipulates time

The race in the final game is still much better than what was in the Alpha Build - the balloon race. You rode a firework that was awkward as heck to control and had to fly through rings all around Mafia Town to get speed boosts to beat the Mafia in a hot air balloon. I still had my old laptop at the...

Re: A Hat in Time - Cool Visor that manipulates time

The time I fought the Toilet was on my old laptop which could not handle a lot of the areas of this game all that well (but there were some mildly amusing visual bugs in Subcon Forest) Anyway, the boss fight lagged a lot which made it far more difficult than it would be normally, but I managed to do...

Re: A Hat in Time - Button that makes a headband summon a scooter

Today's episode is actually the first time I've seen the newest DLC, I don't own it (yet) but it seems interesting though a little busy visually!

Re: A Hat in Time - Button that makes a headband summon a scooter

I loved messing around with the scooter, just driving around all the different worlds in the game and trying to do all sorts of trick jumps.

Re: What games are you playing?

I got Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valencia the other day and I'v been playing that. I'm on Chapter 4 right now, and overall I like the game.

I got the urge to beat VIP3 so I did. Not too bad, except for some late game levels.

Re: A Hat in Time - Visor

Wow, everyone has cool hats now. I really enjoyed exploring Mafia Town, it seems like I always find something new each time! Before I got my current PC, I could do about 15 FPS so being able to play it at a much higher framerate is rather nice That said the dlc apparently adds a Trans flag somewhere...

I think this'll be a fun LP :)
JonTron did have a bigger role in the pre-release builds but in the final version he just has a tiny cameo

A Hat in Time - Cool Visor that manipulates time

Hello, this is my first time hosting a game, so I hope it goes well! A Hat in Time is a game developed by Gears for Breakfast and it's also a game I have some history with. I first found out about it thanks to Beta 64, and I immediately went out and pre-ordered the game (I know, dangerous) and playe...

Re: What games are you playing?

Made it to Chapter 5 in Yakuza Kiwami. I'm liking it a lot so far but I am wondering how long it is. Picked up my Romancing SaGa 2 playthrough from forever ago and beat up Kzinssie and finally made it to Year 1001. At this rate I'll be old before I finish the game lol In my TTYD replay, I just left ...

Alright, I know exactly one of these. There's a few think I kind of know what series it's from but I have no idea about most of these.

Re: What games are you playing?

I got the newest Humble Monthly so I've been playing SoulCalibur VI and Yakuza Kiwami lately. SC6: it's better than SC5. That's not really saying much though because 5 (other than its character creator) was real meh. I really wish Bamco would remove the equipment conflict thing. It is seriously very...

Well this is certainly very different from the only Nippon Ichi title I've played (Rhapsody A Musical Adventure) but I am interested and eager to see more.

Re: What games are you playing?

I finished Rhapsody the other day. I had like an hour left of navigating boring dungeons. I actually sort of had to try with the final boss but still was really easy. I am interested in playing the sequels but considering they are Japanese only, probably would be a while if ever before I even starte...

Re: What games are you playing?

Returned to Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure after my sudden and apparent inability to do action commands in TTYD (which was extremely frustrating. I'd love to believe it's just Dolphin/my controller acting up but I don't think that's the case). Just about to go get the Earthstone and after that, I thi...

Re: What games are you playing?

Beat Ys I. I had a lot of fun until the final boss. That was just annoying. I Barely won and I don't even want to imagine that fight on higher difficulties (I was playing on Normal). I will play Ys 2 eventually but not right now. I started a replay of Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door. The goal of ...

Re: What games are you playing?

Got to Darm Tower in Ys I. As I understand I don't have much of the game left, Just a bunch of boss fights. I like Ys 1 a lot even if it's very short. The graphics in the Chronicles version are quite pretty. At some point I played some SMT1 and now my chaos-aligned protagonist is in Ginza to kick so...

Re: What games are you playing?

I started Ys 1 the other day. Been liking it so far! Because I've played Origin beforehand I know that Feena and Reah are the goddesses but still, it's kinda obvious that those two are 'different' in a way. I like the PC-88 ost and I like that you can switch between three different OSTs in the Chron...

This game's visuals are excellent without a doubt! I've never heard of it before seeing it in the Coming Up Next thread and I can say it has left a positive first impression.

Re: What games are you playing?

Yeah, I was thinking of playing the PSP version. Not opposed to playing the JP PSX version whenever though. Sad that it doesn't have a translation patch, but PSX translation patches are hard to do. Makes sense to me. Do try the PS1 version at some point. There's a lot of interesting differences bet...

Re: What games are you playing?

I've finished much less FF games then either of you (KobaBeach and pholtos) but 5/5: 6, 9 is the correct answer. Other than that, uh 4/5: VII 3/5: II 2/5: IV 1/5: I (I've only played the NES version so might be why I really don't like it) -- Getting very close to finishing Super Robot Wars OG1, at E...

Nearing the end in Super Robot Wars OG1. I had a lot of fun with this game! The story is interesting and the music is fabulous. There is a lot of text though and if I were playing this on my GBA I imagine I would have some kind of eye strain from trying to see the dang screen. Started up another pla...

Re: Donkey Kong Jr. Math - raocow fails at grade school math

I had a bootleg copy of Fire Emblem GBA that had the cover art awkwardly stretched to the dimensions of the cartridge label. Serra was a pink Lowen, and Chapter 26 in Eliwood mode was unbeatable because the game would freeze after beating the chapter. I never did have one of those multi carts though.
