Re: All The S@nics - SADX Missions - Together Again

Really can't blame you for the savestate. After playing these on the Steam version, I WISH I had access to one to plop right before the final section. It's a special kind of sadism and laziness to put the main challenge of the mission right at the end of what is essentially a glorified two and a hal...

Re: A Hat in Time - This is the face of *mumbling.*

Knowing Hatricia, I consider the option raocow went with to be the canon ending.

Re: A Hat in Time - Rift Adventures in the Artic

I guess that makes people giving preemptive angrycow warnings a bit of an anti-angrycow measure, in a sense. I feel like the video might've went slightly messier if this level sprung up on cow with nobody talking about how frustrating and tricky it can be. I couldn't help but grin after seeing the a...

Re: A Hat in Time - More Hats

There's not particularly any reason to play this level more than once, but if you'd want to for whatever reason,

you get the timepiece no matter who you pick. The dialogue for each choice is pretty great.

Re: A Hat in Time - Beret

I didn't even realize you could scale the big tree until finding the achievement for it after beating the game, and rao's doing it literally first thing in the entire level. This is already shaping up to be one of the most entertaining Hat Time LPs ever :o

Re: Crash Bandicoot Trilogy - U R Not Red E

It really doesn't get much worse than Cold Hard Crash. Getting the box gem in it is basically a culmination of every terrible design choice for a Crash game rolled up into one. On the bright side, it really doesn't get much worse than Cold Hard Crash. Except maybe a few outliers.

Re: All The S@nics & Knockles - 3&K - Angel

With Angel Island saved for real this time, raocow is now doomed to play a level of Blue Sphere every day for the next 367,720 years

Re: A Thousand Miles - Music Maker - Little Einstein

I can't hear a video game-y rendition of Turkish March without immediately being reminded of The End is Nigh.

The platforming in this game and the platforming in that game are at least slightly different.

Re: Discordhaus 2.0 | Like Skypehaus, but on Discord

It's been a while since I've done much community interaction stuff, and a Talkhaus Discord sounds like a pretty concise place for that. I'd like an invite, if there's nothin' wrong with asking that.

Re: Crash Bandicoot Trilogy - U R Not Red E

100%ing the first game in particular, especially as a newcomer, and especially when it isn't the remake, is definitely one hell of a thing. The remake made things much easier by making it so that you aren't expected to beat every level getting all the boxes AND without dying to keep the gems, and al...

Re: One Or Two Silvanas - Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine - I Feel Like Some Apple Pie!

A yippee? Just for me? It's more likely than you think.

I gotta hand it to Rao for making it this far, my brain usually shuts down in most Puyo games by level 6.

Re: Mega Man 9 - Retro Reboot

I sure do hate it when Mega Man gets hit and becomes small Mega Man. https://i.pinimg.com/236x/a9/ee/ca/a9eeca53142883c41815db1292f1e258--mario-bros-desktop-backgrounds.jpg This level was the one that I tend to dread the most whenever I think about this game, specifically because of all the underwat...

Re: Mega Man 9 - Retro Reboot

Ah man, this one. For as modern as a retro-revival as it was, they definitely took a few steps back to try and keep it as retro as possible. Sticking maybe a little bit too close to the way 2 did things might've hindered the game's design a bit, with a whole lot of hurdles that could've better been ...

Re: Squeegee's General Artthings

I just try to iron both sides as best as I can, and make sure to move it carefully. If a part breaks, I go try to re-iron it on.
Thank you, also! ^^
