Re: Super Talking Time Bros 3 (World 1 Demo)
So this project has been in stasis for a good while now. Most of the folks I had working on this with me have stopped over time, either due to lack of interest or just vanishing off the web for months at a time. As it stands now if I want to get this finished I will need some help from somewhere. Ri...

Re: 102 Dalmatians - Miracle Dogs
Crystal's voice has been so familiar and has been driving me nuts so I looked it up and she's played by Russie Taylor, a prolific voice actress since the 80s and has done a lot of Disney stuff, including Huey, Dewey, and Louie in the OG DuckTales cartoon, which is probably why that voice activating ...

raocow: What a cruel sequel hook.
Me: *stares in Mega Man Legends 2*
Also, oh yeah I forgot the finalfinal boss did have a remix of Bach's piece, so that's something!

Re: Mega Man Legends - Digging Up a Classic
Man I've been waiting for raocow to get to this cutscene since he became endeared to the Bonnes. Haha. 'Aggressively anime' is the perfect descriptor, from the abrupt and jarring tone shift of the plot to the exceedingly polite antagonist that mostly keeps their eyes closed to the old enemies/rivals...

Re: Mega Man Legends - Digging Up a Classic
raocow hits the nail on the head here regarding the Bonnes. Earlier in the thread I said Mega Man Legends was a game that's more than the sum of its parts, and the Bonnes are probably the biggest part of that equation. They're probably some of the most lovable antagonists out there and help give the...

Re: Mega Man Legends - Digging Up a Classic
I think raocow memory-holing the option to unlock Sub Cities on a terminal he JUST interacted with was one of the most frustrating LP watcher moments in a bit, haha. At least he found it by episode's end. Honestly, this is probably more the start of the third act than the very end, though MML is a s...

Re: Mega Man Legends - Digging Up a Classic
Boy am I glad raocow made one particular decision in the most recent video. Might become obvious rather quickly in the next one what I'm talking about, haha. Aaaand there it is, haha. Wow, did raocow ever make the right call yesterday by going out to heal/refill the canteen and save before checking...

Re: Mega Man Legends - Digging Up a Classic
The robot from Laupta Castle in the Sky is a rude boy. But raocow, don't be afraid to backtrack out of a dungeon to heal and save if needed.
The crocos are a good midgame money grind if ever needed since they're right next to a dungeon exit.

Re: Mega Man Legends - Digging Up a Classic
Y'know, I totally forgot about Wily's kinda creepy vibe towards Roll. I mostly remembered his voice as being uncharacteristically kind for a Mega Man character named Wily, and also for being distractingly low in volume. But raocow didn't try examining the painting itself to talk to the artist, what'...

Re: Mega Man Legends - Digging Up a Classic
Oh man raocow said a thing in the latest video I REALLY want to comment on but I'll wait until it's relevant again. And here we are! Awesome that raocow immediately realized the guy who obviously looked like Wily was in fact Wily. A bit bummed he still hasn't checked out the alternate title screen ...

I wasn't gonna say anything but yeah :( I absolutely love Teisel's over the top Saturday Morning Cartoon Villain performance in MML but I find it hard to go back to after learning things about his VA.

Re: Mega Man Legends - Digging Up a Classic
Mega Man Legends is a game that's very much more than the sum of its parts, it is beloved for a reason but you got to learn to live with its clunkier, pre-analog, aspects. One word of advice, because I'm fairly sure this isn't hinted directly but I'll spoil it just in case you don't want any help wh...

Re: Mega Man 2.5D - Rocking the Third Dimension... Kind of!
I wonder if you were meant to use two Search Snakes to time the button presses at the start of the stage? Might've been easier than dealing with the spikey ladder jerk. Otherwise yeah, wow, the stage either needed to refill your weapon energy after each death to make the focus more on execution, or ...

Re: Super Talking Time Bros 3 (World 1 Demo)
Ah yes, it's not stated anywhere in the demo or on the page but Qu Marsh is the user formerly known as Ifnkovhgroghprm, so that's a relief for anyone trying to identify the level makers.

Super Talking Time Bros 3 (Help needed, see new post)
This is a thing that's happening! While the game as a whole is still in development and will very much 'be done when it's done' we decided to put together a demo of the first world, and some additional later game stages, just to try and get some broader feedback and get some eyes on the project. We ...

Re: *X3 WINNER CONGRATS TO ENJL* the one with the seasonal allergies
Just getting to watch now. I knew Enjl's level was a 1st place contender when I first played it when a MaGLX3 level pack was released at some point, and it totally deserves to be there. Even putting the lua wizardry aside, it's very well put together and I love the dread lingering in the background....

Re: kerocola karnival (MaGLX3)
Oh hey that's my level I done! Get ready for some long-winded author rambling! I'm pretty happy with my placement overall. It might be a bit of a plummet since my surprise MaGLX1 win, but the time period between MaGLX2 and MaGLX3 was absolutely barren for me, creatively, and making this stage helped...

Re: cookie crumble, parkway rumble (MaGLX3)
I love how Tier X is set up, man, I'm looking forward to seeing how they have potential hub deaths set up in other Tiers.
Oh and Pillsbury pizza dough does come in a tube (well, more like a cylinder, like some of their other products). It's gross! Don't ever use it.

Re: Make a Good Mega Man Level - Wily Is Not A 1-oFf f0e
Oh wow, I forgot how many levels were submitted to 48H. I guess 24H is the only one that would be a quickie.
Oh and there's also Episode Zero! Which I think is best played after MaGMML2? Either way there's plenty of Make a Good Mega Man in the future if raocow so chooses.

Re: Make a Good Mega Man Level - Wily Is Not A 1-oFf f0e
Last stage music was an 8-bit port of the last stage from Mega Man X5, which was a very unique track for a Mega Man game, to say the least. I'd love to see the other MaGMMLs but they are beasts and are probably best left when you don't also have another ginormous Make A Good Something Something LP g...

Re: Make a Good Mega Man Level - Wily Is Not A 1-oFf f0e
Funny raocow would think the music from the first stage is from Shovel Knight. It's actually the 8-bit version of the final stage theme from DuckTales Remastered, composed by Jake "virt" Kaufman who also worked on Shovel Knight.
