What about the 2nd special world level? He has 28 dragon coins now. Personally I found that level much harder than DDP, at least the second half. Aquaferic Pressure sure did change quite a bit. It wasn't terribly hard before in my opinion, and the extra mushroom that was added at the end of the secret exit eliminated a lot of the difficulty. It'll probably be less frustrating to future JUMP players though. I do love the water/no water gimmick...
