My [serious] suggestion is SMW YEAH!. This is a Japanese hack which manages to be very like the original game in spirit while remaining very much a hack. It's not too hard for the most part and you get plenty of lives - you even start the game with 20 lives so that you don't need to rely on savetat...

So... I finally finished SMW. Not a lot of alt paths done, true, but at least I managed to finish it with all the switch palaces done. Hey, that's a first. So I was wondering... for a guy that isn't THAT skilled at SMW (or at least that's my opinion, unless you guys want to see me plastering a gamep...
