i feel like luna tower was probably everyone's favorite level thematically from A1XT haha. it's definitely the level that sticks out in my mind the most

I feel like the being that entered the R.E.T.C.O.N. had to have been Pumpernickle- his fight ended so suddenly, it felt like a world boss, but not a FINAL boss. It wouldn't make sense for it to have been Rewind, because he'd just go back to the R.E.B.O.O.T. to continue his plan unaware of Pumpernick...

Pumpernickle is a true demon of the people. He knows what we all want: CHAOS!!

rewind's weird racism is fine in the context of the story, it's clearly portrayed as being wrong and borderline destructive demo and iris don't have a stake in things either way, and could probably be talked into reviving the ABCDs if it was at a more reasonable cost than literally everything I hon...

today's levels were really cool! i quite liked the first one, though I do wish it had gone on a bit longer, and played with the gimmick of turning the factory on and off a bit more!

the plan the Uncles have for the Super Leeks and The Last Chicken Wing is to bring back all the ABCDs who perished in the war against the Space Masters of Space.

I'm surprised there was a Broadsword level halfway through the world as a tutorial for his gameplay, but then since then there's been no more Broadsword levels. I totally expected the level after to be a proper Broadsword level!



But I guess that fits the world being a chaotic mess! :p

yeah the non-newtonian fluid level would've been cooler if its design had actually tried to take advantage of the properties, rather than have it a lore and interesting mechanic thing, but gameplay-wise left it as basically fast, deadly quicksand

It's also making me imagine a proper card game involving them. Perhaps I should prototype some ideas.

That's honestly really cool, that beating the game rewards you with access to a shmup-stage-only version of the game. And it seems like the better you play, the more rewards you get after each stage. That's so cool!!
