It was fun seeing raocow play through all of Star Fox 64, even going through the extra step to the secret warps.
To go with the topic of Star Fox 64's voice acting a few pages ago, I found the uncompressed voicelines from the Nintendo Gigaleak:

Re: ASMT 11th Anniversary LP - Hey There Guy
About raocow complaining about his own design, he said it best after beating his own level "Rupture in Reality" from An SMWC Production: "Past me was kind of an idiot and didn't know how to design levels."
Let's be thankful that someone put a 1up midpoint at the end there.

Re: ASMT 11th Anniversary LP - Hey There Guy
I remember in the past that someone mention that Big Boos have a special peeking animation if you stare at their direction long enough. I'm just hoping that raocow would do that at least once when another level with a Big Boo comes up later on.

Re: Donkey Kong 64 - waste our time doing our little victory animation
I was expecting raocow to be walled a bit in the K.Rool fight, but I didn't expect it to be Lanky's part. Whether this game was bad or not, it kinda kill off the collect-a-thon platformer genre for a while due to the absurd amount of collectable needed to beat the game and/or 100% it, with only a fe...

Re: Donkey Kong 64 - only took an hour
So, Beaver Bother was bad enough with the edge gravity of the beaver, but someone once had it worse: https://youtu.be/OkMmyNw8HMA?t=9321 In that player's words: "My balls are blue as these beavers." And the worst thing is that there is another Beaver Bother in Creepy Castle with the same n...

Re: Donkey Kong 64 - you press a button and button things happen
While the mechanical fish can be very difficult with the lag, the second rabbit race is difficult because of the lack of lag with the Virtual Console version. I don't know if the emulator has any lag, but if it doesn't has as much as the original, then the race would be just as difficult on as with ...

Re: Donkey Kong 64 - sometimes a little bit of balance is a good thing
So, there's a strange interaction with the sniper upgrade for one specific spot in the game. As bad as the mechanical fish was in Gloomy Galleon for raocow, it becomes much worse with the sniper upgrade as it added lag in the area, which means the fan slows down and stops less frequently, but the ti...

Re: talkhaus thoughts
I'm a bit curious, but what happened at November 4th of 2019 where we got 2134 people on the talkhaus at the same time? pretty sure that was some kind of bot stampede, 'cus I'm pretty sure it wasn't A Rose in the Twilight episode 2 setting the talkhaus ablaze weirdly aggressive chinese data farming...

Despite the long video today, I didn't expect what the only source of angrycow really was in that video.
That said, was "???" clear on how many doors you have to complete to progress?

Re: What games are you playing?
4 badges. I just got across the drawbridge and am currently lost on The Next Route looking for Team PETA grunts that probably aren't even here. It's been years since I played the 5th Gen games, but I seem to recall that the Plasma Grunts for progress are in the storage/freezer area in the 5th gym t...

Yeah, I realized that I got this thread confused with the Crash Bandicoot one, where that thread was the catch-all for the original trilogy.

Re: Vanilla Level Design Contest 11 -- tim horton's betrayal
Where does the remix bgm for the Koopalapolis stage originate? I know I've heard it in other hacks raocow has played but I can't remember which. I think I remember hearing that remix a lot in an earlier SMWC contest that raocow played, where I think if those who submitted levels used vanilla music,...

Re: What games are you playing?
I don't mind having to rely on dodging instead of blocking cause I've had to do that for Bloodborne, and I barely ever use the block cause it seems blocking even the lightest attack will reduce 90% of your stamina. But I'm still having trouble figuring out how the flow of combat is intended to work...

Re: What games are you playing?
Finally got around to playing Nioh which I bought and installed like 2 months ago. I just finished the first "real" boss after the prologue. Still not entirely sure I understand the mechanics of the game. It's an obvious soulslike game, but they've added their own unique twist to make com...

With raocow finishing the Blue Switch Palace/Super Malice World, it made me wonder: is there an earlier point that your can actually hit any of the previous blue switches?

Re: Who the heck was BlackDS?
For the deal with BlackDS, they were the worst kind of forum posters, like flaming, spamming, trolling, creating new accounts to bypass bans, asking others to post their responses, all the kinds of activities that breaks the rules of the forums. But at the same time, it was very early on in the talk...

Re: What games are you playing?
Started up NG7 in Sekiro, which I believe is the difficulty cap. Honestly, similar to most of the Souls games, the biggest jump in difficulty is from NG to NG+ and then every increment from there is such a small percentage that you don't really notice the difference. But still, at least I can say I...
