Re: VIP 5 2019 - Like a talent for missing the ground to those trying to fly

With raocow finishing the Blue Switch Palace/Super Malice World, it made me wonder: is there an earlier point that your can actually hit any of the previous blue switches?

Re: Who the heck was BlackDS?

For the deal with BlackDS, they were the worst kind of forum posters, like flaming, spamming, trolling, creating new accounts to bypass bans, asking others to post their responses, all the kinds of activities that breaks the rules of the forums. But at the same time, it was very early on in the talk...

Re: What games are you playing?

Started up NG7 in Sekiro, which I believe is the difficulty cap. Honestly, similar to most of the Souls games, the biggest jump in difficulty is from NG to NG+ and then every increment from there is such a small percentage that you don't really notice the difference. But still, at least I can say I...

Being a major lurker, even though I log in the talkhaus daily. Like, motivation in life for me has been low since the last few years.

So, what really was the problem with the old version of the spider boss? Was it moving around too much to butt-slam?

Re: What games are you playing?

Been playing adventure of Super Smash Bro. Ultimate, and one word of advice: check your opponents power level before you fight. Fighting an opponent with around 9000 power level with a 2000 one, even with color advantage, is not a good experience when going in blind.

I get the feeling that the game is trying to go for "big", but doesn't realize what "big" really means.

Re: Last Impact : First Impression

Oof, the intended first star really did not give a good impression for the rest of the game, but then again it's raocow getting adjusted to 3D and camera controls. Let's just be thankful the rescue wind is there.

So watching that boss thwomp in today's video: is it raocow ducking what prevents him from being frozen in place during that fight?

Re: Talking the Talk Thread

Food for though: what website domain would you think would still be active 10 years later from now? Keep in mind of all the things that could potentially happen in the future, like outrages or controversy, laws and policies, decrease in ad revenue, competition, etc. Some websites would like to stay ...

Re: VIP 4 2018 - Earth's really suffering from global warming. Wait, is this even earth?

Man, a level 9 years ago made raocow resorted to savestates. He made it easy this time.

But then again, raocow played more difficult SMW romhacks for 9 years since.

Well, let's be thankful that "Stickerbush Spikery" didn't have the rotating launch barrels as well, and that all the Dragon Coins were in the first half.

A little bit in me misses the old Charlie replacements in the previous VIPs with his """baseball bat""" and """shovel tail""".

And yeah, the secret exit of "Para-panic" was certainly a thing of expertise needed to clear it.

Been looking at raocow's tvtropes page today on a whim. Man, there are a lot of silly moments thrown in there. Also made me wonder why the site just randomly dropped off the face of the earth in popularity a few years ago, too, but whatever. Don't really know why, and I'm a frequent user of that si...

Guessing from raocow's perspective, I'd say around 20~30 minutes. I'd be surprised if raocow's answer was higher or lower than my estimate.

It has an eerie vibe to it, as expected from a crypt.

A good start for the dungeon.
