for the 2nd DC, i think you were supposed to ride the moving stairs to get at eye level with the flying koopa, and then take damage to make him turn to face you so he starts moving left. using the shell to make him turn around was inconsistent because the way he oscillates up and down is RNG.

the hitbox of the springs wrap both horizontally and vertically across the camera. the horizontal is harder to see because you have to be scrolled in just the right way to trigger it

yeah maybe that true. whats nice about romhacking is that because there's no incentive to sell your games, you dont need to appeal to a broad audience, so more niche's get covered. there gonna be something for everyone :pal:

This game has a Wii-era kids movie-based game feel to it. Dunno if that makes sense. It's cute for what it is. Fluid and responsive but somehow kinda unimpressive at the same time? I dunno, as long as it's fluid and responsive, that's all that really matters from a gameplay perspective.

I guess if you'd have to write an individual comment for over 100 levels while under relative time pressure, you can't expect to have individualized, meaningful comments for every entry.
