Re: Anyone been playing FTL recently?

Fuel, teleporting enemies, rockets and fire.
Just by writing this I realize how bad I am at this game... I would always go for a strong shield so nothing can hurt me, but then there are these missile guys and I'm done for.
Gotta play more risky next time.

Re: Anyone been playing FTL recently?

Yeah, I've played it aswell.
I'm so terrible at the game though that I haven't unlocked anything fancy yet, so I couldn't try all those amazing ships (Also because I refuse to play the game on easy).
So yeah, I really should play the game some more if I'm not actually playing Dark Souls right now.

Koopa/Piranha Plant from Paper Mario (favourite N64 game).
Avatar is recolored, because blue looks great.
Signature is just my Backloggery because I like telling people what I'm playing at the time.

I really wonder why something like this hasn't been posted yet; I laughed my ass of the first time I saw it.

Re: Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel Released!

What I've seen so far looks very similiar to the first game, but it's like with the original Mega Man games: Gameplay and graphics stay, new stages, bosses and abilities. I'm too bad at Mega Man to judge if that's a good thing or not. Pretty smooth run right there, Picochilla. You seem to be one of ...

Re: future merchandise ideas

Yeah, I know about ATXS, but I meant something like a full-on book with a lot of letters and stuff like that, you know the things that are like 1500 pages long. I really appreciate rao's artstyle and drawings, but it isn't really what I usually look for when reading a book if that somehow makes sense.

Re: Twitter: The Thread

Hell yeah! I bought me a relatively intact N64 controller + Ocarina of Time at a garage sale and been playing that a lot in the last few days. It's a must-have(-played) game, but I never got around buying it cause my controllers were all dead. I don't know a whole lot about the game, but what I've s...

Re: New Touhou Game Announced!

Yeah, that certainly looks interesting! Being a frequent player of the Touhou fighters I'm really looking forward to this, and I especially love Tasofro's design choices. It also looks like they've improved the poor resolution, so thats a lot of stuff going on. I might even gonna buy it once it's re...

Re: raocow does Puzzle Video Sundays plz

But I really hate watching anybody do puzzles especially if I have a different idea of how to do stuff than them and I'd rather just solve them myself (not that I have ever actually been able to solve a puzzle in my life) Haha, I can totally understand that. But I still think it wouldn't harm if ra...

Re: Distorted Travesty 2 - I'd say Boogaloo but it's overused

Zephyr has, as far as I can tell, really improved the leveldesign with this one. You aren't commited to a single pace, as the color-spaces are always around, so you can play the level without feeling rushed. Also they are much larger and the enemies are mostly stationary ones, so you could probably ...

Yeah, thats pretty much equally as bad as the SMW Kaizo. Cutoffs, bad enemy placement, unfair difficulty and trial-and-error. DKC offers better aerial movement than SMW though, having a mid-air jump and another jump when getting hit while airborne.

Re: What games are you playing?

I'm currently playing Touhou 12.3 and 09 against a friend of mine. Although he has almost no experience he's slowly adapting to my techniques and he's sometimes very close to win. I guess it's just like that with every game: If I'd play Street Fighter with Daigo all day long I'd loose really freakin...

Haha, raocow just stand beneath the blue plant guy while waiting for his fire to recharge but actually has full water and is only a single dash away from the other plant. Way to make an simple boss overly complicated raocow x)

Re: Distorted Travesty 2 - I'd say Boogaloo but it's overused

I really enjoyed the series up to this point. I haven't played the game so far but as far as I can tell from raocows gameplay it works more fluid than it's prequel, with all the elements and special moves being easily accessible and the wall jump helps a lot aswell! Good job on the boss raocow, but ...

Re: What games are you playing?

So I picked up Morrowind again: Man, so many memorable people and places and just even finding a single piece of glass-armor is something very rare and special. Also unlike it's sequels there is no quick-travel so you will have to walk through the lands (which can be quite rewarding) or pay a trip w...

Never really been a fan of music in general. If I ever listen to musical stuff it's most likely videogame music or rock, maybe a bit of metal. The thing about videogames is that their catchy music is always connected with a certain level, scenery or enemy, which makes them more memorable and interes...
