Re: Pokota's LP Thread

What's this? An update!? Well, yes. I haven't updated this thread in a ridiculously long time. I'm trying to stream more consistently - so now I'm streaming Tuesdays at 4 PM EST, Thursdays at 4 PM EST, and Saturdays starting before 3 PM EST. For now, Tuesdays are Final Fantasy 6. And as always, vods...

Re: Mega Man V - It Takes Five to Tango

While it is a platformer, it's also still very heavily tied to the chip-based system of the BN series.

And this time, the chips run out. I think.

Either way, that means grinding.

Re: Mario Land 3: Wario Land - Rupee (No, Not That One)

wall of text I feel like that doesn't really work in Wario Land as you're somewhat encouraged to get all the treasures. Even with that specific mindet, though, it's a bit lazy, anyway. It's still a valid decision in the end, as only Sherbet Island's treasures and one odd one in Stove Canyon are beh...

Re: Paper Mario 64 Discussion

I mean stuff like your operating system.

If you're running on windows 10, grab BizHawk and the BizHawk Prereqs installer, and install those. Then load up Paper Mario like you would in other emulators.

To those of you who say "This is irrelevant", it is still relevant. There were just no posts for a long time. This thread is always relevant for noobs who need help. I, too, share Noodle's question. What emulator should I use to play Paper Mario? Why'd you scratch out BizHawk? The reason I scratche...

Re: Mega Man III - Super Challenge Rockman World

I Mega Man III was my first Mega Man game. I had borrowed it from a friend. I didn't beat this game for years as a result of having to return it.

That crusher segment was most of why.

His walk cycle could use a tad more 'oomf', in my opinion. Pump your arms a bit more, Megaman! but I think 3d model megaman looks weird no matter what you do (and voices? really? are we Comcept now?) That was throwing a "could not clean the file" error.

Re: [Unofficial] ASMT SNES Version COMPLETED

Clean... as in headerless? Headered? Unexpanded? Expanded? These things matter, especially with patchers like flips, that validate the base file before attempting to patch. Which is why I was asking for a checksum. So that I can make sure I have the same base that you started from. (Read: I tried ap...

Re: 2004 Mitsubishi Eclipse GTS

Behold, a not-at-all quick way to tell whether your SGB mode is SNES or just GB-With-Borders. mvGEDY9rTUg BSNES's SGB implementation isn't great (read: IT STINKS, as far as GB fidelity is concerned, since it's BSNES emulating a GB on top of running the SGB firmware) but it's at least SNES. The LSNES...

Re: thread

I'm not surprised. There's just generally less interest in mucking around with Link's Awakening than there is Link to the Past.
