No, that find will make for a more enjoyable experience for raocow in there. This is the good timeline.

Every time the words; La-Mulana, Ninja, Porcupine, Lettuce, Spikes, or Mother are said, you cut to the 2 seconds prior to the word being said and the 10 seconds following.

Re: La-Mulana - Make It Good

About what the manual says on map layout. It's not incorrect the manual says you can place all the map squares into a 5x4 box, but a less misleading explanation is that the maps all tessellate. Doing that rather than trying to figure out where to logically place the squares seems easier and more str...

Re: La-Mulana - Starcross

There is a reason why the La Mulana randomizer explicitly has an option to remove the Spaulder from the item pool, and why the recent April Fools randomizer basically had random spots just give you copies of the Spaulder, for the sake of the joke of "it sucks and is bad to have on now here play the...

Re: La-Mulana - Augmented Fourth

The puzzle itself is good, but the one time aspect is only slightly annoying when you've got a quicksave on every teleport. The puzzle 'starting' on reading the tablet is really silly though. Maybe we should discuss this in PMs, but I don't understand at all what you're saying here. To be clear, I'm...

Re: La-Mulana - All Things Devours

That seems better and less degenerate than waiting and praying to every La-Mulana god that he doesn't climb the ladder.

Re: La-Mulana - All Things Devours

One thing I should mention is that guiding the lizard guy to the light in the original was a lot more annoying, because you couldn't. The original lizard's movement was completely random, didn't track Lemeza at all. Pretty sure it's still fairly random in this too. I've stood right in front of the ...

Re: La-Mulana - Photopia

Yeah that puzzle discussed above is particularly uh, something. It never made me salty, but I remember just having an "oh I guess" feeling when I solved it. Overall it's very rare that janky weirdness happens. Now another game on the other hand La mulana 2 has, or had if patched out, a really bad ha...

Re: La-Mulana - Curses!

To those asking, The clue for that is right next to the dias that raocow missed in the first video of Goddess. That clue is not that big a leap in logic. I think it's easy to overlook at first, (I sure did for awhile) but applying it to what you know about the game up to this point is incredibly rea...

Re: La-Mulana - The Lurking Horror

when things open up but almost immediately shut you down After the Viy kill and your ending the video with "So much opened up." I kinda figured this comment was coming. It was around this part of the game that I was also stuck roaming for what seemed like forever. To the above LM2 stuff: I can see ...

Re: La-Mulana - The Lurking Horror

Using sub-weapons or not is viable and no shame in any method. Also I approve of the facetank method for most bosses in La-Mulana since almost all of them are kinda bad. (Don't actually do that to the remaining ones, you won't have a good time doing that.) Viy and Bahamut I feel are the most jank du...

Re: La-Mulana - One Eye Open

Sebby.

No, we shouldn't tell him about that. A potential item missed there is just part of the game and that is only missable waaay down the road. Not really anything to worry about. And I'm on the, only give clues/hints when raocow specifically asks for them, thing.

Re: La-Mulana - Endless, Nameless

Since he's past the puzzle that 'technically' requires it, I don't see an issue with giving him, at the surface level, what he missed about it. It's getting him up to where he should be on the game's world. I find it absolutely bullshit that the sigils being numbers is some big spoiler, fuck that no...

Re: La-Mulana - Endless, Nameless

If raocow is specifically asking for a clue/hint (via text), then I think it's fine to give it to him. The gate puzzle you don't even need to spell it out, but a hint regarding the concept of it would be fine. raocow even made a good guess. (but then immediately forgets about it) To answer your ques...

Re: La-Mulana - BSE

I remember that dumb riddle from grade school. The LM puzzle in question is a bit silly, but no comparison to the leaps you have to make for that schoolyard one.

This episode displayed that raocow's weakness is

slightly elevated pixels a mere two tiles to the left.

Re: La-Mulana - Little Blue Men

During my first playthrough, I beat Zu right around the same time raocow did, just bashing my face against it until winning because I was unsure of what else to do at the time. I'm expecting raocow to fight an early Baphomet, though he's honestly well equip for it. I think he'll figure out the witch...

Man, the Twin Labs pit of despair. Everyone falls into the pit. Looking forward to you falling in again.

I was giggling a bit when you were going to that Twin Labs grail point and straight up laughed when you warped out.

Re: La-Mulana - Slap That Fish

So much opened up, here come the times of getting lost soon. How much is boss battle :P The 4th boss is the first real big boy challenge imo Half-agreed, he's always felt very RNG based, though highly mitigated of course if you hit him on his way down when he flops toward the raft. Bahamut still fee...

Re: Super Mario Doomsday - Daleks in the Sky with Diamonds

Got pointed to this thread. The DT games did not use Game Maker's built in save system as I find it essentially unusable. Basically all games that I know of made in any version of Game Maker just use its text file writing functions, which is all DT did.

Re: Nintendo Switch presentation

I didn't read this thread but I preordered Breath of the Wild for Switch even though I haven't preordered a Switch cause I was too late (and wasn't really trying that hard). I put myself on the email waitlist thing on Amazon in case they ever add more preorders, which I'm not sure if that's a thing...
