Re: VLDC9 - vanadium likeness delineated cutting 9

Yeah, my main gripe with "Mass Extinction" is how easy it is to get yourself stuck and having to kill yourself. I know not everyone is a fan of reset doors or whatever, but this level really could have used some in my opinion. Despite that it's a really cool level though The other one was...

I actually managed to die in the skip room for exactly this reason due to the way the room scrolls.

That being said I couldn't even get past the initial area of the proper level, even with savestates. So....

Re: MaGL 3 results: dinosaur omelette

So the green pipe that raocow tried to enter in my level was actually an exit pipe; the entrance was the purpleish pipe shortly before it. Maybe I should have marked it better...? But yeah, this was fairly intentionally rompy. Being generally unfamiliar with SMW hacking I decided I wanted to make a ...

I'm kinda surprised that the Cirno level didn't have Cirno music (though it did have Touhou music at least)

Re: Twitter Thread

I'm reeeeeeally hoping this doesn't end up as bad as I think it will be. But the GoP basically having carte blanche is terrifying. 2016 is shaping up to be a terrible year. Lot of people I like died, Brexit, President Trump, plus a whole lot of personal issues. But gotta look on the bright side. Cu...

the fact that there's another level that scored the same as today's level makes me feel really bad for that level, just throwin' that out there

Re: What games are you playing?

Let's just say there's a very good reason why I feel like the Final Fantasy series didn't really *start* (or at least *find itself*) until 4. Anyhow, I finally defeated Dullahan on Golden Sun 2 last night. Tried fighting it normally a couple times, and... yeah, it's just too cheap with its Djinn St...

Re: Twitter Thread

As an Iowa fan I think college football is the last thing I want to talk about, lol Never scheduled NDSU! When will the FBS teams learn? Well I mean, the Big Ten has rules against it now. Iowa only went through with it because it was scheduled already. (They have another one in.. 2018 I think? It's...

Re: What games are you playing?

Oh my word. So the last dungeon is a large dungeon in and of itself, ending in a boss fight. Then afterwards you go into a cloud to fight 4 99,999 HP minibosses and a 199,999 hp final boss. All without being able to save. Thank everything for save states. My word. I've never played the game myself,...

I pretty much always have a Blind Guardian song stuck in my head. Even when I also have other songs stuck in my head.

Re: Childhood games

Not necessarily flaws, but back when I was a kid I remember Super Mario World being a lot harder than it actually is. I remember getting grounded as a kid because I talked about that game way too much. That and Pokémon Blue.

I've been alternating between doing stuff in Final Fantasy 14 and trying to 1cc Embodiment of Scarlet Devil on Hard, which is not going particularly well.

I'd imagine it wouldn't work as well, at least. I also remember it being more expensive than that one.

Re: What games are you playing?

I've been trying and (mostly) failing to 1cc various Touhou games on Normal. I also recently got pulled back into Diablo 3 by some of my friends. Leveling in that game seems a lot less grindy than it used to, I tell you what. Mountain of Faith. Marisa B. Keep your Power between 3.0 and 3.95. Don't ...
