Is it possible to put a message into a level that apparently doesn't have a message slot assigned to it? I guess the message at the beginning is kind of an artifact from when I used a goal sphere at the end. At this point, I think it could refer to the secret treasure box (the one that's supposed to be on every level), but then I still run into the problem of having to put in another message at the end...

I'm not sure what the podobo dripping palettes use, and LM doesn't make it very easy to check. I thought it would be fine just because the podobos themselves were orange. I just realized (yeah I know, dumb, but I've had a very bad month) that I'd have to remove all of the vines in the third room or remove the Whistlin' Chuck to prevent 1-UP spamming, but since lives will probably be meaningless, it's probably not something to be bothered with.

I've heard the infinite lives concern and I wasn't sure if it's possible to life grind on the koopa generator, but I've put in cement blocks anyway so that that probably won't happen. Demo isn't Mario so I don't think it really works. Even if the sign wasn't directed at Demo. But I guess it's your choice in the end. Anyway, I like the palette in this room.
