Re: Iconoclasts - I didn't think humans were that strong.

As far as my two cents go, I feel like the Birdman was only vaguely aware of the humans, but not enough to be able to reason with them--trying to indicate that they were wasting all the fuel in the depot only got a dismissive shrug from Robin, and he was presumably offended by that gesture. As far a...

also were all the pupils named if so do i have to include them here i don't really remember I think only "Jala" was mentioned as a pupil's name, so there's that. (And also Gerrie, but he was already dead before that.) Also, I neglected to mention this previously but that boss had such an epic music...

Re: Iconoclasts - They say it's the ultimate, final energy.

Hoo wow, where to begin with Fitzroy... So, you can actually start the quest for his boss battle as soon as the Darland Ascent part of the Contraption is available, much like I had while cleaning up what I could with the Galvanized Wrench. However, he's not available to fight until the brief time be...

Re: Iconoclasts - It's not like I'm fighting because I want to be popular.

It's probably a good thing they stopped making Reborns after Lawrence. Can you imagine the tedium if we had to fight a Rutherford or a Meitner or--heavens forbid--an Oganessian ? Joking aside, those were some crunchy boss fights to digest. Especially Lawrence, who would've been a chump had either of...

Well, so much for a loving, caring Mother to watch over her people. The boss fight had some really kickass music though--it's right up there with the music for the Agent Black and Moby Controller fights.

Re: Donkey Kong Country 3 - Welcome to Kanada!

Having watched the LP, I gotta say that it's probably for the best I never beat the game when I rented it back then. It had some neat ideas (like the concept of an overworld that actually had things to do other than selecting worlds, and that you could exit a world at any time without needing to pay...

Re: Iconoclasts - You're an energetic human.

White's death is fairly brutal, and kinda horrifying if you think about what happened. I couldn't help but be reminded of when someone got sprouted in Grim Fandango when I saw White bite it. Only now, it's more violent because he wasn't just getting turned into flowers. Also, yeah, the side charact...

Re: Talkhaus Mario Maker 2 Level Sharing Thread! Wow!

Finally uploaded another level. It's a basic Auto-Mario this time, and I chose that genre to get the hang of its workflow. Code is 8GC-FTC-MDF . Enjoy! EDIT: And another level which may or may not be fun for multiplayer. It's called HELP! SPRINGS! HELP! SPRINGS! , and its code is 0BF-DG6-7QG . While...

Re: Talkhaus Mario Maker 2 Level Sharing Thread! Wow!

Decided to retire "Stacked" in favor of another level I made not too long ago, called "Chateau Chaud". Fair warning, though, it's rather tricky. Code is C5M-N6L-BNG.

Re: Talkhaus Mario Maker 2 Level Sharing Thread! Wow!

Back again with a couple more levels:
  • A Chancy Christmas: Mario must play the lottery to win his way to a perfect holiday! Probably my easiest offering yet.
  • Rocket Ascent: Basically an airship autoscroller with Swinging Claws.

Re: Talkhaus Mario Maker 2 Level Sharing Thread! Wow!

Just added a couple courses:
  • Stacked: Kill 75 Koopa Troopas like you were a DJ!
  • An Extreme Cave-Like Spin Cycle: A platforming gauntlet starring the Propeller Mushroom.

Re: LunaLua Help

I do agree about frozen NPCs being a different ID entirely. However, I think I was a bit unclear on the actual question I had. What I meant to say was: I have a toughened non-boss enemy I'm going to call "Target". And I have an NPC to throw at Target to damage him. I'll call that one "Projectile". I...

Re: LunaLua Help

Yep, that did the trick. Thank you! EDIT: I just found a problem with the code--apparently, NPCs frozen by the Ice Flower disregard the HP of the toughened NPC. I set the NPC in question to be vulnerable to only other NPCs, so when I throw a different NPC at it, it decrements health as it should. Ho...

Re: LunaLua Help

Is there a way to extend the health of a non-boss enemy in Lua? For example, if I wanted an unusually tough Goomba, how would I make its health more than 1 HP?

E: And to clarify, Trying to do so on the NPC Config text doc doesn't work. I've tried that.

Game looks pretty nice and sounds like a step up compared to SMM1, so I went ahead and pre-bought it as soon as my last paycheck came in.

Can't wait to experiment with all the new stuff they have!

Re: Copy Kitty - Imitation is the besterest form of flattery

The weirdest part of the owls in today's vid is that they're still described as penguins in the database and level editor, just like the actual spherical penguins that are (presumably) their descendants.

Then again, "Penguin Control" doesn't quite have the same ring to it...

Katamari Damacy ReRoll

There were a few other contenders for the spot in my opinion (including the aforementioned Guacamelee! 2) but I figured that I had the most fun playing KDR, only having trouble with two of the regular levels.

All of the above sound nice, but I'm really looking forward to getting my hands on Travis Strikes Back since I really like the gameplay concept there. Also, I missed out on the frst two games, so it'll be the first time I get to experience the NMH-verse in all its glorious insanity.

Re: Most Anticipated Future raocow LP

I'm looking forward to seeing raocow take on the Crash Bandicoot Classic Trilogy , mostly since it's not a Mario, a MegaMen, or an indie game. I like watching LPs of those, too, but something fresh would shake thing up for the better. Not gonna count Rayman Origins since I'm not as much of a fan of ...
