Re: YUMP2 - 7 - Nonary Game

I also saw it labeled as Mr Lucky in my search but it wasn't available on streaming services under that name and I thought it might have been some release for a children's album or something. I wonder if the Plus Crier name was just made up for some new rights holder who got ahold of it when it star...

Re: YUMP2 - 7 - Nonary Game

I have discovered the grocery store music is officially titled At the Mall by Plus Crier and it's available for streaming services along with the other songs from the album it's on

Re: YUMP2 - 7 - Nonary Game

Kinda disappointed there wasn't a bit where you go to get a feather and it kills you because feathers come from animals. But also the title doesn't fit in general so it's ok I thought about this too but I don't think most animal rights activists would care about what you did with a feather found on...

Re: request grab-bag

I still have vivid memories of getting up early on school days and watching the day's ASMT episode on my crappy Toshiba laptop. Hair still wet from the shower, which combined with the spongey pads on my headphones made for the unpleasant feeling that my hair water was absorbing into them. And I beli...

Re: YUMP2 - 4 - Around the World

no yeah I associate 'not allowed to run' to that early a2mt level forever because having a level where you are not allowed to run as one of the first levels in a hack is certainly an idea That's hilarious, and what's also funny is that "feature" was basically thrown in because you may recall the ob...

Re: YUMP2 - 4 - Around the World

Finally got around to finishing this. What a great level, the joke is so simple in theory but the fact that it stayed pretty high quality through the whole thing makes it work so much better. I was driven pretty nuts watching you go back and forth between the same 3 screens over and over again while...

It doesn't benefit Jimmy Kimmel or James Corden so of course they won't keep it around

The zoo level was a really clever idea and I'm disappointed there wasn't more done with it. There was so much to explore!

Re: YUMP2 - 1 - Tulips or Roses?

I'm wondering if raocow watched the RLM boomer fight video because that featured Mike making an inaccurate "beam me up Scotty" reference and then today raocow made an inaccurate "beam me up Scotty" reference and attributed it to "wheel of the worst" which is another RLM series

So was there something that raocow was missing in that block nightmare room that makes it a little more controllable? Was it unfinished?

Re: VIP6 - 2ch

I'm gonna be honest, if no one told me this was a "zombie" version of the game I wouldn't have noticed Like, yeah I guess the map isn't all fancified like Vip5 (which I am not actually a huge fan of anyway) and we're not supposed to expect a big climactic final boss, but I think this post-game final...

Re: VIP6 - 2ch

So what does the R orb do before you get the midpoint? I'd assume it resets the doors you've cleared already, allowing you to re-enter them, which... seems an odd behaviour, but that's what it looks like? Well now that we see it's custom multi-midpoint technology, I'm thinking the R doesn't stand f...

Re: The "Gigaleak" of old Nintendo games

SMW Helmet Power, looks suspiciously like the Pre-Yoshi Prototype above Further evidence that SMW was rushed to meet the SNES release and there were supposed to be more powerups, likely to be found in red and blue switch blocks Also that Yoshi's Island prototype map looked better than the final thing

Re: VIP6 - Chikuma

You don't need to always be so hard on yourself about not being able to block clone, it's a frame-perfect trick and can even be ruined by sub-pixel shenanigans I believe. It's done in the SMW speedrun but they use a cape to slow fall so you get 2 frames to hit the clone spot on the block instead of ...

Re: VIP6 - Kagoshima

Only one key works at a time (the one in the highest sprite slot). Keys that come from blocks can (and typically will) spawn in a higher slot than ones that spawn naturally. So once the block one spawns it becomes the 'active key' and the other one stops working. I probably would have solved the gr...
