Re: League of Something
If you're mid, you should be maxing your E anyway because it's such a fantastic poke tool. You max Q if you're against someone who's melee that you can reliably hit with it without them hitting you back. If you can't trade because the enemy has boatloads of sustain, you should either ignore them and...

Re: League of Something
Another difference with annie is that viktor's laser makes NO FREAKING SENSE Clearly your inferior, fleshy mind cannot comprehend the power of such a thing! It's vector-targetting. Rumble's ult works the same way. You click to set the start point, and where you release the mouse button is the secon...

Re: League of Something
See, I started playing him because I thought he was a nice AP champ for top or mid, like Swain or Vlad. But I soon realized that the ray's long cooldown and high mana cost, and Viktor's mp5 being like the lowest in the game, lane management was hard. Of course he's good against the enemy champ in t...

Alternately, it means I apparently can't read. Jeez.Paralars wrote:Well, Alex has been confirmed clear by Jesu. I don't know if that means he could be the survivor, but it certainly means he's not mafia.

Re: Avocado Cinnamon Swirl Mafia - PARTICIPATION
Not much to say to an FoS that's really just "I think you're kinda shady," other than "nope not scum." I feel I'm better at logicing things out than acting as a judge of character, but I kinda missed a lot of the discussion due to not being on when it happened and not having too ...

Re: League of Something
They're gonna buff his passive item so it feels more efficient late game. Yep, I'm aware of that. I'm just talking about his current state. I've actually heard Viktor is pretty good top, never tried it out though. Maybe one day I will. :P If your mid doesn't need blue and you're on blue side, you c...

Re: League of Something
Holy shit another Viktor main. Viktor is totally fine in terms of power. The problem is that his augments don't feel efficient because of the item slot they take up late game, even though they actually are fairly gold efficient. You can actually take him top lane against a lot of bruisers (Especiall...

Re: Avocado Cinnamon Swirl Mafia - PARTICIPATION
There's 6 town (including the survivor) today. That would be MYLO if there weren't a bulletproof still around, I think. 3 clears could go an awfully long way considering how dangerous a mislynch is at this point, but the miller may or may not be around to muddle it. If the sane cop claims, though, w...

...and since there's no role that benefits from being killed The oracle does. And speak of the devil, there he is. Aposke has seemed pretty scummy to me, so I'm thinking it's not a bad idea to check him this way. Assuming the oracle also reveals sanity, we'll also know for sure whether BTYM was a m...

Re: ASMBXT; Postgame, raocow becomes a RaoMAN!
Watching that level, I got some major La-Mulana vibes. I think it's mostly the gravestones/tablets giving you hints in the form of riddles. It's a pretty impressive-looking level, that's for sure. The tablets are the ones from the la-mulana remake, and one of the plot tablets says something similar ...

I'm having a great deal of difficulty wrapping my head around this program/finding a halfway decent tutorial. If someone else wants to give the flipper dungeon a try while I continue to fumble around, feel free to.

Re: So Who Is Interested In Making "A Super ASMT 64" Levels?
Speaking of tutorials, is anyone actually interested in using Maya? It's a lot better suited for this kind of thing in my opinion, but with how simple the geometry is in an N64 game Sketchup is plenty good enough to get the job done.

A brief bit of google-fu tells me that you apparently need to attach the textures to the .obj via a .mtl file, which is pretty easy to do.

Re: Nintendo won't be hosting an E3 press conference this year.
I feel like this is a bad decision... Like to me the E3 press conferences seem to be less about getting news out and more about making sure you have a continued prominent presence so why would you... not do that... Making a presentation for a big conference like E3 means taking a lot of development...

Re: So Who Is Interested In Making "A Super ASMT 64" Levels?
I'm not really interested in level design, but depending on what amount of free time I have, I might pick up an extra slot if there's room left over. What I absolutely can do is model any sort of complex setpieces people might want or need, and I can make (tileable or just for object) textures for r...

Actually, since it seems like it's going to be a separate "wing" anyway, what if it were a mini dungeon that's technically separate, but the entrance is right by the first shield dungeon's on the overworld?
