Re: Wandersong - Divisi

Is it possible to actually lose the final boss? Or is the health bar just for show?

Re: A Hat in Time - Yarn that can potentially stop time

The manor level is easily my least favorite level in the entire game. I can't stand horror games and didn't get this game to be spooked. It is very out of place. When I played this game again with a friend I made him do the level alone, since no way could I stomach it again, and he is way more toler...

Re: What games are you playing?

I have been playing the Bloodstained games. I ended up liking Curse of the Moon a lot more than I expected to. The levels are designed with the stiff controls in mind and reward resourceful, careful play. I also liked how different the game plays out depending on if you go for the good or bad ending...

Re: What games are you playing?

I have now officially done a full month of Ring Fit Adventure. My weight isn’t much lower, but I do feel better overall and my sleep has improved tremendously. I have also been able to increase my exercise time from 10 minutes to nearly 25 minutes. The original 10 minutes feels like barely anything ...

Re: What games are you playing?

I finished the first 6 worlds of Ring Fit Adventure. The game just keeps on getting more and more "RPG." Type advantages, consumable items, powerful attacks with long cooldowns, an "Elite Four" group of sorts, traditional boss fights, side quests, a skill tree, "metal slimes," and keep in mind that ...

Re: What games are you playing?

Trying to do the Lost World in DKC2 is making me hate the game so I may just give up and move to DKC3. It isn't the levels themselves, those are fine. It's the process of actually unlocking them. Kremcoin hunting isn't fun at all and it is just getting more and more frustrating as I progress through...

Re: What games are you playing?

I hated Hyper Light Drifter for not explaining anything. I got completely lost and frustrated after a couple of hours when I first played it and haven't played it since with no desire to go back to it. I get it, we all hate long boring tutorials that explain every little detail, but please at least...

Re: What games are you playing?

Been playing Hyper Light Drifter (first time, and I haven't seen raocow's playthrough so I'm going in blind). Progress-wise, I guess I've collected four of those shard things. Wow, this game really gives you no clear information on anything that's going on, and I kinda love it. It seems to be a pre...

Hi. I am 11clock, the guy who made raocow play the GMC jams several years ago. I seldom watch raocow's LPs.

Re: request grab-bag

I would like to suggest Wandersong. This is a very chill story oriented platformer focused on memorable funny moments. It also isn't very dialogue heavy (unless you want to talk to literally every NPC). raocow tends to play very hard games, so I think that this game would be a nice supplement to one...

Re: What games are you playing?

I started to play Legend of Bum-Bo. Gameplay-wise the game is pretty fun, but it also follows the trend with games from Edmund being released in half-finished states. Wait for patches before getting the game.

Re: What games are you playing?

I started the post-game of DKC2. It's nice to have some new levels to play, but the actual process of unlocking them I am not having much fun with. The kremcoins are in some ways even worse than star coins in NSMB when it comes to finding them, but at least the bonus challenges are kind of fun and y...

Re: What games are you playing?

I finished my first week with Ring Fit. I am already feeling a little better and my sleep appears to be improving. The game is surprisingly good. It is genuinely fun while distracting me from my sore muscles (for better or for worse, I ended up pulling something in my left arm) with a bunch of loud ...

Re: What games are you playing?

I have only ever died like... once in this game. I think it was to a miniboss in the graveyard of the second mansion, which is honestly a bit of a difficulty spike. Yup that's the exact one that killed me haha As soon as you start reeling one of the ghosts in, one of the others will fly at you from...

Re: What games are you playing?

Jesus christ apparently when you die in this game you have to redo the entire mission which is really annoying when you've been doing a bunch of exploring and sucking up every bit of money you can find. And when the levels require you to slowly carry buckets of water across rooms. That's... very an...

Re: What games are you playing?

I beat DKC2. Overall, great game, just has an occasional "Mega Man" moment here and there due to not keeping the camera in mind in certain sections. The bosses were definitely the main highlight for me. All of them but King Zing Sting were enjoyable. The level design was really solid other than the ...

Re: What games are you playing?

I beat Chain Link Chamber in DKC2. This level... it's honestly "This is why the camera in DKC2 kind of sucks: The Level." It's filled to the brim with stuff you get hit by simply because you couldn't see them coming. Chain Link Chamber is a level of pure trial and error, and it would actually be a r...

Re: What games are you playing?

Approaching the end of DKC2 and am on world 6. Nitpick time! Some of it is retreading and elaborating on previous thoughts. There were two levels that I thought were just... bad. There was this level with an angler fish that was this confusing mess of an underwater maze where you couldn't see anythi...

Re: What games are you playing?

Bramble Scramble was a really cool level. I was expecting it to be a brutal difficulty spike given all that I have heard about it, surprised I only died once during it. But yeah, favorite level in the game now. EDIT: I noticed that you keep kremcoins even when you die. So maybe they won't be so bad ...
