tempo is jank but it has terrific visuals, virtua fighter is a terrific port (i assume virtua racing dx too), cosmic carnage is a damn vibe despite having the balance of wet paper on fire, iirc blackthorne isn't bad.

Kolibri, Doom's not so bad if you turn off the music, also the community made multiple improvements to it along with that recent SRB2 remake which as far as I'm concerned is the best version because it has a proper homing attack.

is there any reason to even emulate the 32x? the only game i can think of off the top of my head is knuckles chaotix, and it's not really THAT good

Good thing early Sega emulation is super good, you can easily play all the stuff from the SG series to the 32X/CD in a single emulator these days.
