It is Day 3

Sturg's been spinning on the dance floor, showing all the fastest move they can do. They're on fire... literally. They're dead, an overkill if you can call it. They're revealed to be a Cop.

1 Town, 1 Mafia alive.

Mafia Wins

RegiGiygas is the Mafia

A list of the actual roles of everyone:
  • Sturg - Sane Cop
  • bbbrrr_its_cold - Doctor
  • RedMageMike - Villager
  • Sorel - Miller Villager
  • Mikkofier - Survivor
  • RegiGiygas - Mafia
Final Thought:
I have to compensate for the short amount of players that had to sign up, so with the 6 that showed up, some balance changes were made:
  • The Cop got the bulletproof ability because usually there are two cops within the mafia game. With only one, I had to make sure that the cop did not die on the first night; otherwise the Town would be at a big disadvantage. To compensate for this, I made the sanity a coinflip, allowing an interesting turn and to motivate the Doctor to give protection to someone other than themselves.
  • The Doctor had the protect ability nerfed to stop consecutive attempts because I felt it was a bit too powerful on a small selection of people, but this is where I screwed up: I should have added the good protection ability to not only prevent an overkill from happening on the person they're protecting, but also reset the protect "gauge" on the person if they were attacked and protected, or something similar to this.
  • As much as I wanted the Lesser Roles for the Villagers from my previous mafia game, there were too few people that signed up and played, with around 9+ being the optimal number.
  • The Overkill and Role-Block ability for the Mafia was sort of a necessity for the solo mafia to have a chance to win: The Overkill was to lower the higher-than-normal survivability of the town (the Cop with the bulletproof vest and the small selection of the Doctor's protection), but to compensate, they're not allowed to be used on the first night, where the Cop was very vulnerable.
In other words, while I had to balance some things to make up for only 6 players, I messed up the Doctor role. Bad.

The one thing that really surprised this game me is the double kill on the first night.

Had there been the 8 minimum players, there would have been:
  • Sane and Insane Cop
  • Doctor (without the nerfs)
  • Villager and Miller
  • Survivor
  • Roleblocker and normal Mafia
In other words, a vanilla (cake) game. Instead we got the vanilla cupcakes with sprinkles. What is it with me and bad luck with hosting mafia games?[/spoiler]
I hope that future mafia game are better than this. I'll make banners if people request it.

First, I was waiting until this ended, but there is no "s" in my username so all of the quotes with that in it were, sadly, useless.

In any case, I still enjoyed it. It just sucked that we lost two people night one and then didn't really get much actual discussion after that. Honestly, I think the best thing would have just been to try and hold out for more players, but hindsight is 20/20.

Damn, I knew I should have gone against my better judgement and protected Mikko night one due to how the last game went...

Contrary to popular belief, I made sure that I knew exactly what I was doing as soon as I read the rules. So I tried to use the strategy of pretending I didn't understand the entirety of what was going on. Also, my delayed response was actually because I had been busy.

in conclusion this game made me feel like a jerk

but it was nice.

Sad it had to end so soon. Hopefully next time we'll get more interest.

So the survivor's thing boils down to "knows if someone visits this one person and dies if that person is killed"? Sounds more like a squatter or a houseguest
