MaGL X2 Relay Level (What is a level? A miserable little pile of...)

I think my piece works. Nothing fancy, hope everything works and I didn't break any rules or anything!

Ugh, I'm still getting this damn overflow error, even when I load the level sometimes. It either happens when I want to test the level or load it.

Since Fluffi's still having technical issues and I don't believe we're on Section 7 yet (haven't actually checked the most recent version), I think you can actually go now.Zatsupachi wrote:oh my, I'm almost there.
Tuesday's coming up and we have a bunch of people requesting "a weekend", so if you're ready to go tomorrow, that might work best.Wolfolotl wrote:ping

Have you tried it on a fresh install of SMBX?FluffiMasta wrote:Ugh, I'm still getting this damn overflow error, even when I load the level sometimes. It either happens when I want to test the level or load it.

All right, guess we may as well try to keep this moving, so I'll poke the next few people on the list.

I'm going through some unexpected family matters at the moment so I probably shouldn't go right away. Things should be clearer next week though so I'll look into preparing for that.Dragon Fogel wrote:Are any of you available to continue this?

Best of luck with the family matters. Hope things are okay.Kapus wrote:I'm going through some unexpected family matters at the moment so I probably shouldn't go right away. Things should be clearer next week though so I'll look into preparing for that.
Anyone up for going next?

yo.
I tried testing the level in godmode, as to see how it plays up to now so that my section can be somewhat appropriate, and the part with bees doesn't let me go further because the screen stops scrolling.
fnix it
Re: MaGL X2 Relay Level (Postgame Colab Level - ☯ Edition - 65% done)
It should let you continue once the timer is up. If it doesn't then... someone has broken the Lua somewhere.Minnakht wrote: fnix it
Re: MaGL X2 Relay Level (Postgame Colab Level - ♫ Edition - 67% done)
Yes, I mean once the timer is up.
Serac appears,
there's the textbox saying "have fun in the next part" and I can't go to the next part.Re: MaGL X2 Relay Level (Postgame Colab Level - ♫ Edition - 67% done)
Hmm. Has this happened more than once? There's a bug in LunaLua at the moment that sometimes causes events to skip, which could cause this. It will be fixed by the release of MAGLX2.Minnakht wrote:Yes, I mean once the timer is up.Serac appears,

Re: MaGL X2 Relay Level (Postgame Colab Level - ♫ Edition - 67% done)
Ah.
No, it didn't. Should've just tried again, huh.
My devkit isn't "mushroom-into-lava"-proof, though, it seems, and since I got stuck behind section 4's pain wall, it pushed a mushroom into lava.
...I should really play better, but gosh, the relay's hard if I can mess up in god mode.

That's another bug to be fixed in the new version of Lua, I think.Minnakht wrote: My devkit isn't "mushroom-into-lava"-proof, though, it seems

Re: MaGL X2 Relay Level (Postgame Colab Level - ♫ Edition - 67% done)
(Can confirm that "I think". SMBX's ol mushroom-in-lava bug is patched by the new version of LunaDLL. I consider that fix to have been a joint effort by Horikawa (for isolating a very reliable test level that always triggers within a couple seconds), Kevsoft (for figuring out what was going wrong in the SMBX code during the crash, and proposing what the code ought to do instead), and myself (for making the ASM patch), and am quite pleased that bug can be a thing of the past.)Hoeloe wrote:That's another bug to be fixed in the new version of Lua, I think.Minnakht wrote:My devkit isn't "mushroom-into-lava"-proof, though, it seems

I think it's Mystick's turn next, I'll let him go, but thanks for reminding me. I've been sorta not really paying attention, but I'll make sure to make my screen once Mystick's done. :VAqualakitu wrote:https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/141 ... lakitu.zip

Because Touhou OCs can in fact exist, sounds fake I know.
I can't change my username but I go by Vali/Claire now (aka call me Vali or Claire at your leisure ^^).
I never update this currently playing section anymore, it's probably an RPG or something.

It's less "it's someone's turn now" and more "a few people can go next, first come first serves, otherwise we'd be waiting for ages for some single loader"
Speaking of which, my section's done, albeit untested. Let me know if you find out anything went wrong.

If you have time, feel free to go when Minnakht is donenow. Unless someone's been heard from particularly recently or they've stated a specific time they want to go, it's fair game as long as you announce as to avoid risk of two people going at once.Validon98 wrote:I think it's Mystick's turn next, I'll let him go, but thanks for reminding me. The order of the list is only as important as the people in the list want it to be (or in other words, I do what I can to arrange to accommodate requests, and will make note of them on the list, but in absence of relevant requests it's just a loose guideline of who might be good to poke about going next)
