I feel like someone should make Wario based on Toad... there are ...certain... Wario-themed things one could do with the double-jump.

I mean... we all know The Tall One is the superior Wa... but still...

SMBX completely crapped out on me as I was playing through the earlier parts of the level out of curiosity, but by then I think I had my screen more or less how I wanted it so everything should be fine. Player 1's start is probably somewhere it shouldn't be, but that's it (hopefully.)

Sorry to break the flow, but I probably won't have anything ready 'til late tomorrow. In the meantime, I was wondering if there's any layers / events that I might be able to reuse in order to avoid thinning the availability? I'm mulling over maybe having some toggling, though I might just go for something simpler and quick in light of Batafire's pursuit.

That's not a bad idea, even if it's a little unorganized. Two of my layers would fit the bill pretty well (Cheez-Goodies and Cheez-Baddies) since they are extremely localized and never move, so somebody could reuse those safely as long as they're far enough away from the start of Section 5. Just keep in mind that an event at the start of Section 5 swaps which of the two is visible.

If we do reuse resources like this, we should probably require people who reuse them to change the layer or event name to make it clear when one's been reused.

I have 2 events that make a layer go up and down

If you need to clean up the layers and events lists, SAJewersPets3 is no longer needed, and SAJewersPets1/SAJewersPets2 can probably be condensed down into 1 layer (and thus remove the need for one of the events).

I wound up not making use of any new / other layers / events, though I do appreciate reusable ones being pointed out. I also went ahead and removed SAJewersPets3 from the layers list, but I was a bit too nervous about trying to compound things so 1 and 2 are still there.

Alright guys, I officially graduated! :D

I originally said that May 10th would be a bad day, but it seems that Mother's Day won't be too crowded for me. Anyways, I'm up for making my screen, but I can wait and such. Let's see what the others have to say first.

Let me know if I broke anything!

Now with proper link

My section lags a little bit due to SMBX being poorly put together, so if the next has issues with the lag extending to their screen they may want to take a few extra blocks to use as a buffer zone to distance sufficiently from my area
