Rao, the reason the Ice Flower is so prevalent is becuase the Fire flower is useless against Subcon enemies.

For a game that is supposed to show off SMBX, you think it would be a good idea to not make it hard.
And he went though 2 and a half worlds.

I like how the Ice Flower has similar physics to the one in NSMB Wii. Underwater enemies will float up when hit by that thing, too.

To the people saying this is easy modo: Wait for the later stages. They become a thing pretty quickly.

Also IIRC, there's more wacky titles, Rao. Just you wait.

A tip for anyone playing this: You can swim faster by pushing the run button.

And I took the hard way to the secret exit in Shotgun Vases by using Mario. I forgot about the other characters.

I think you were supposed to find invisible coin blocks to reach the key.
(at least I think I remember TLs4 hitting one. Could be wrong, though.)

Man, I had so much trouble with that castle, and raocow just breezes through it.

I guess that goes to show that playing Mario every day helps you... play Mario every day.

Huh, that was something of an anticlimax. Wart gets no respect, I tells ya (which should in no way be taken to suggest he deserves any).

Also, I bet that key probably could have been used as a weapon, as in SMB2. Would have made that one section slightly less hazardous (not that it looked all that horrible just dodging, though).

This is what is in those blocks is a:

mushroom/fire flower on the right side (which you revealed)
and 99 coins in the remaining blocks (bring luigi)

there are also mushrooms in the two remaining plants you didn't pull.

Yeah the creator took the game down from his site (which is still up). I have no idea why and it seems like kind of a dick move!

It's not a level you can just charge through. You have to be careful and it's very helpful to bring a couple of power-ups along. I did neither of those things, and there's a lot of points where being careless costs you.

After grabbing some hammers it became pretty simple. Of course, if you play a lot you'd have an instinct about when to step carefully and/or get some firepower.

This.

I had so much trouble, just plowing through the level as Link. At least it was rewarding at the end, since I was able to kill Wart quickly with the sword.
