raocow's explanation for not using boss weapons is pretty much why I don't use them on the initial 8, either (refights and fortress bosses are another matter, though).likewise tend to get super-sloppy when using them as compared to the arm cannon, as well. All around, it just makes for a less enjoyable and satisfying experience that trying to learn their behavior and engage them in a proper duel.

Also, seeing Flash Man being that fast and mobile is weird, man. Everyone knows he's supposed to hobble around like a geriatric turtle on Valium! It's especially evident when he's denied the advantage of his room's original terrain; in the Mega Man 2 refights, you can saw him to kingdom come before he even manages to limp over to your side of the room. Flash man? Mo' like Trash Can!

One of those is accurate :3
omg pyro noticed me!!!

I know for a fact it's not the first four, hahah. I like how I called ALL FOUR PARTS BUT IN THE WRONG COMBINATIONS. XD Really didn't expect Woodchill Man, I mean... Double weakness to fire??? Come on, Wily, that's really bad design! I do like your logic on Flade Man being weak to the explosive weapon of the game, though! Very nice touch. So, lesse if I can figure out which one's accurate... I bet it's Bubbike Man :3

NONE OF WHAT I SAID WAS ACCURATE, YOU LIED TO ME PYRO D8

So what we have remaining are Heat Man and Quick Man for MM2 and Solar Man and Strike Man for MM10. I'm going to assume that it's gonna be Heatolar Man and Quike Man. It'll make the most sense given what we have left and their patterns.

Also the new pill wasn't really that interesting to me in this stage. It's funny how it makes Mega Man do the moonwalk, but it really doesn't seem to add much to the stage in my opinion, unlike the original version's milk poisoning.

"honestly these doc robot stages feel like what the normal stages should have been. maybe it's just me though."

correct

some of the gimmicks from the doc stages were actually planned to be in the original stages but i was bad and dumb

also yeah raocow the enemy thing i will listen to you for the sequel! :3

EDIT: FOR CLARIFICATION raocow, the secret thing is the same in every stage. There's just eight different places you can find it.

Shovel Knight impressed me right from the intro level because they specifically made it so when you have to backtrack from a secret room into a normal one, enemies that used to be there in the normal room do not respawn if you'd collide with them. Everything else does. They took extra care so you wouldn't get bumped, and I like that a lot.

I mean, they could have not put enemies on the borders of rooms, but that'd have limited the design, instead they programmed them differently.

Wait, is the secret thing the raocow encounter that already happened in the very first stage he played (Thomas)? Or something different?

Milk is weak to Illuminati because of the Milkman Conspiracy, obviously.

Also you should try WHAT at least once.
In Thomas's stage in particular.
