So whenever I enter the World 6 hub door my framerate drops to like 10 seconds per frame, and there's no music. I think it took me over a minute to get Demo to turn around and get back to the main hub, where the framerate was all peachy-keen again. Anybody have an idea what's going on or how to fix it? I kind of want to help playtest all the rest of the levels, but if this keeps up it doesn't look like I'll get to do any of the World 6 levels.

It's fine everywhere else, but for some reason time just about freezes when I'm in the World 6 room. Is there something like an extra music file I shouldn't still have?

cheez I cannot replicate your problem. My suggestion to you would be to reinstall the dev kit.

Try opening World 6 in the editor and see if you get the lag problems. Maybe the music file isn't working for you or something and SMBX tries to play it over and over because it's not playing.
The first thing I would do with infinite power would be to make myself a cave where I could look at my shadow forever.

OK Guys, Let's get testing!

Here's 0.90 of ASMBXT: Prelude To The Stupid. I've transitioned everything from a Dev Kit to a final looking game. This also Includes the HUB World, which will be used in the final game. This doesn't however, include the new exe with updated strings, cheats, and Splash Screen. So don't try and play Super Demo 128, as the cheat doesn't match the sign. Otherwise, this can be considered near-final.

If you want to play any of the Gimmick Levels, you can either find them yourself, hidden in the HUB World, or use the Level Editor and change the Player 1 Start Location. See the Wiki for what level is in what world.

Also, You'll need to re-download everything again. Apologies.

I'm assuming this includes all the recent updates to levels and everything yes?

Edit: (Should I do some full on playthrough? If I did that would take a while most likely...)

Yes, and Yes. Though you should probably start in one of the later worlds. If you haven't played through any of the levels yet, then someone should upload a save that get you into world 6 or 7.

EDIT: Ok, here's my save. This'll get you into world 7. I believe I only got up to partway through world 5, however I did play a few levels in world 6 and 7 (possibly 8) and a few gimmick levels. Start maybe by going through worlds 1-5, and doing the gimimck level, then start from world 6 or 7.

Also, I know I misspelled "Climbed" in world 7, and that's been fixed on my end. If I made any other spelling/grammar mistakes, tell me.

OK, Here's 0.91. Includes Updates to levels, and fixes/updates to worlds. Because the Clone tool wouldn't work for me for some reason, I had to create a new hub area for the second part of world 2. Take the door just past where the block used to be to get to the second part.

The Entire Package is being uploaded as I speak, and I'll throw a link here when it's finished.

So you fixed the world 2 hub? That's the only major problem I saw, and caslte of reflection starting at the midpoint. 100%ed up to world 5 so far.

Edit: About that. it looks like you can jump through the ceiling around where you renovated and into the wall again. Also the door that says "TO BARRACKS" seems to bring me to kood's level.

That's because I screwed up the warp. One Second.
EDIT: OK, Here's 0.91b. Which fixes the broken warp in World 2, makes a requested change to the credits, and includes The Blood Cavern Update.

I have created a hacked save for testing:

You start with 1000 stars (not attributed to any existing levels).

You start with 99 lives and 99 coins.
