Mario block is coming up soon. Land, Bros 3, and World. Then right after is MMX games. I don't know why they had to concentrate all the good games into today.
I'd also like to watch OoT tonight, but I have to be up for work tomorrow unfortunately :(

I never actually watched reze before, but wow is he good. Those shell jumps are nothing to scoff at.
None of the All Castles runners even got the one in YI4, and then reze came in and just started casually doing them left and right.

I have no social media presence, my only purpose here is to dismay and terrify you all, and I hope to continue to do so - Me, on one of Duvi0's Drawful streams
Y'know, Cesspool, that is, like, honestly... That was what I expected from you, and y'know what? That's my favorite thing that anyone does, specifically. Cesspool I adore you. - Duvi0 that same stream

I don't think I'll ever get tired of Super Metroid runs. Such a brutal route, so much drama.

That was amazing. He wrecked, but kept his cool. Oats you can just tell was going to get hit with a stunning collapse.TheFinalSentinel wrote:BEHEMOTH! BEHEMOTH! BEHEMOTH! BEHEMOTH!

That Old Man River rendition was pretty good too

Another reminder to check out the Jak & Daxter 100% Japanese dub if you haven't seen it.
Run starts about 2 minutes in.
Seriously, you should watch it. It's easily the most entertaining run I've seen in the 3+ years I've been watching GDQs.

Re: Serial Generosity Doesn't Quit - SGDQ 2016
The Witness run is probably good. I'm pretty sure Fearful Ferret is the one that did the one puzzle game at AGDQ and it was really cool to watch. I forget the name. Though that game was more open and had a lot of platforming elements... Witness is solving panels over and over.
Crypt of the Necrodancer is probably a nice short one to watch.
If they ever get the Pikmin run fixed (stupid copyright...) then I'd be willing to bet that's a great run

Yeah, I went to watch the Pikman one, that's a bummer. I guess there isn't really time to vet all the copyright stuff during that initial rush of uploads.

I finally got around to watching the TAS block. The 4 games 1 input thing was pretty impressive but impossible to watch. I ended up skipping it cause I just didn't know what to look at.

Yeah, I was disappointed. The light-up controllers were really neat as well, though in that context they didn't really...show much?Ashan wrote:I finally got around to watching the TAS block. I'd totally forgotten about Tetris Grand Master, and holy crap is that an amazing block. definitely one of my favorite parts of the marathon.

Re: Serial Generosity Doesn't Quit - SGDQ 2016
I didn't understand what the light up controllers were supposed to represent. If it was 1 input, why were all the controllers doing different inputs?

Different amounts of lag, apparently. It does seem to kind of defeat the purpose, but I'm not the one with the robot...
